  1. The boy playing at RB/RCB is comfortably the worst defender I’ve seen at this level, somehow worse than the boy Ahui who sadly departed Ayr. We couldn’t have started the game any better and I don’t think Mullen touched the ball for the first 15 mins. We could’ve got a couple more goals but can’t complain with the scoreline, everyone excellent but thought Power and Wilson in the middle were superb. It’s quite the turnaround compared to our last visit to EEP where we looked in a sorry state and somewhat in proper relegation trouble. Great to keep this run going and hopefully we can pull off a result at home to Motherwell on Friday.
  2. I think we could do with a striker option off the bench as Jai clearly isn't fit and outside of Muirhead/Oakley and him, no one can really play through the middle if need be. Quite often Muirhead and Oakley look tired with 10/15 to go and that'll only get more obvious as the season goes on.
  3. Dunfermline battered us in the first half last time at EEP, and we looked a right sorry state of a team that day. Thankfully we’ve kicked on since then but this will no doubt be a tough test against a team who have had our number this season (at long last ). Always enjoy a trip to EEP, hopefully we keep this run going.
  4. Brown is probably one of the best appointments you could make and far less risky than some other names going about. That being said, if he does get the job I'm interested to see the influence he has on your squad, particularly once he gets a summer transfer window. Unfortunately I ended up in Blackpool overnight for work last year and Fleetwood happened to be playing at home that evening vs Portsmouth so I headed along. Brown's team were absolutely powderpuff, with no one putting themselves about and always came off second best in a challenge. I remember being surprised at that given Brown's style of play back when he was at Celtic. He spent most of the game moaning at Stephen Whittaker/Fon Williams any time a player shat out a challenge/made an error, and they went on to lose 2-1 IIRC. I got speaking to a couple of Fleetwood supporters who said performances will like that most weeks. Maybe he was hampered by budgets/board, but I came away from the game very surprised at Fleetwood's lack of effort and aggression that night.
  5. I’d be happy with anyone outside of the OF, Hearts and Aberdeen at home. We’ve had Celtic/Rangers away far too many times recently, after a spell of Motherwell away in most cups - they’re probably due a shot of us again.
  6. That’s us signed Shug Wilson until 2025. He’s been brilliant ever since he regained fitness and we probably wouldn’t have gained so many points over the last few weeks without his input.
  7. Is he really good enough to step up to the Premiership again though? He’s been good for us since Imrie came in, but there’s not one time I’ve thought there’s a player that’s playing at a level below what they’re capable of.
  8. We've had our fair share of terrible decisions go against us this season, so it's about time a few went in our favour.
  9. A decent game wrecked by yet another howling refereeing performance from Napier (for both sides). It was all about him in the 2nd half. We should’ve been a couple ahead at half time but can only have ourselves to blame for not getting 3 points.
  10. Mullen signs an extension until 2025, great news. Surprised and disappointed to read above that Bearne may be heading out on loan. Granted he had a poor start, but he was finally starting to show good form in November/early December and hasn’t been given any time since. Strange! I understand Boyd wanting to get a move though as it’s not worked out here.
  11. AirBnB had a few good shouts for 4 nights in Stuttgart. We ended up going that way as hotel prices were extortionate.
  12. We managed to get flights from Frankfurt > Heathrow > Glasgow on the 24th for just under £200. Small matter of an hour and 15 min train journey from Stuttgart to Frankfurt Airport (direct) in the morning, but hopefully goes smoothly. BA have cancelled/changed our flight times on 3 occasions now but still all good, shit myself any time I see an update from them at the moment.
  13. That’s a belter of a picture, and if I were a QOS fan I’d be getting it framed. My long lasting memory of Dobbie will forever be his hat trick at Cappielow when he came on as a sub and just tore us to pieces in what I remember being about 15 minutes. He probably could have achieved a bit more in his career, but it’s very rare these days to find a player to stay so loyal at one club and it’s a credit to QOS & its support for creating a connection with a player in that way. I hope we somehow find an equivalent one day (George Oakley would be lovely).
  14. Got to laugh at Dundee Utd claiming for a foul on Holt for the winner… there’s only one player grabbing a shirt then taking a swipe and falling on his arse, and it wasn’t George
  15. If we lose Strapp I’d prefer we hung on to him for back up at left back given Waters has just returned from an injury.
  16. Dundee Utd have also had a red card in both games against us this season. Animals.
  17. The standard “the way they play” pish being rolled out.
  18. Garrity failing to stop 2 crosses coming in and 2 headers going unchallenged has wrecked a good half of football from us. Don’t fancy the current defence to go through the 2nd half without conceding so hopefully George gets his hat trick.
  19. He’s clattered the boy making no attempt to play the ball. It’s as obvious a yellow as you’ll see.
  20. Didn’t know Wighton was playing until I read this post, genuinely.
