  1. Not as bad as David Obua getting played through on goal against Caley I think. He preceded to take the ball to the corner flag. It was the first half. It was 0-0.
  2. Double header in the Betfred for me this weekend. Tynie tonight (not random) and my first trip to Shielfield for Berwick vs Ayr tomorrow.
  3. I'm somewhat a Newcastle sympathiser these days as my mate is a Toon fan so takes me down. Part of me hopes that every manager Newcastle approach stick the middle finger up at Ashley so he gets the message, but then that's a perilous road to go down, because the further down the barrel you start to scrape, there will be plenty who want to go, even those clearly not cut out for the job. Then again, Ashley has a track record of making false promises to managers and selling the club well, only to throw managers under the bus by not backing them. You'd think most managers these days wouldn't listen to a single word that comes out the fat ****ers mouth.
  4. While the resultwill be somewhat out of place in this thread, this scoreline from last night just sounds beautiful: Accrington Stanley 2-1 Marseille No idea what kind of team Marseille had out, but Florian Thauvin scored their goal.
  5. Really can't see Bruce going. Don't know how ambitious your chairman is, but I'd imagine the club have PL aspirations, and Steve Bruce is a good man to deliver that. Would imagine Chansiri will do all in his power to keep Bruce, and if he sells the dream in the right way, Bruce won't want to ditch it for Newcastle. Being honest, I don't think it would even take pitch of the year to show Ashley up in the ambition stakes.
  6. Union going about their business wisely IMO. Anthony Ujah was another. For a club who've no experience in the Bundesliga, they've done well to bring in some very experienced players.
  7. He played 45 minutes at LB last night, and looked decent. Wee Cammy Logan played RB and done well too. We've had so many young RB's come through recently. A fully fit Mikey Smith. As long as Souttar doesn't go back in that role.
  8. Some cracking performances from the young lads night. Though Euan Henderson had a good game as did Tony Mac. Was good to see Keena get some minutes too.
  9. Hope there's a decent turn out for it. £6 pay at the gate, and a trip to Tynie for the first time since early April for me. Looking forward to it.
  10. It's an award given by the council and the lord provost. Nothing to do with us.
  11. Touted by one red top as 'ex-Celtic star'. Really grinds my gear that shite.
  12. Started strong in League One with the mighty Berwick, winning my first 4 games. Lost the last 2 though including a 4-1 spanking at Firhill to recently relegated Thistle. Happy with my start though, be happy just to avoid relegation and 12 points straight off the bat should go a long way to help achieve that.
  13. I don't believe we are. I believe it's more a case that the ever changing landscape of European football is leaving us looking somewhat stagnant.
  14. We're skint mate. Budge is sucking us dry. So my Hibby mate says anyway.
  15. As far as I'm aware, the new lads couldn't play before July 1st for registration purposes. Could be wrong.
  16. This is the part where I have to confess that I play older versions, albeit with up to date squads etc.
  17. Used to love doing the money cheat and just holidaying every match. Could be good fun but it's much more satisfying when you unlock clubs potential by just putting the work in. I'm an absolute geek for the financial side of it. Makes me really wish they would make a director mode.
  18. I tend to agree. That said, 2 players I recall leaving on bad terms and returning are Webster and Stevenson, and they done alright.
