I don't know the answer to this, but it's caught my interest and I've been having a look. This is the leader in the clubhouse: http://www.stmirrenprogrammes.co.uk/StMirren/STM_Match_Details.php?Season=1951&GameID=195202090 -

Derek Adams interview
Dirty Sanchez replied to Ewanandmoreagain's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
I think it might be giving him too much credit to attribute any this to mind games. My first memory of him as a manager was when I was driving to a game while listening to Ross County beat Celtic in the early kick off in the semi final of the cup. Via the rise of County he'd been making a name for himself and I was genuinely interested to hear what he'd be like and what he'd have to say after this greatest result in his club's history. First impressions weren't good. Rather than being jubliant, he treated us to a bizarre rant. From the very first second of the interview he was already raging, and the crux of his ire was the stunning revelation that lots of people had apparently been predicting that Celtic would win the game. That, yesterday and much of what we've see/heard from him in between points to a guy who at the very least cannae take it, and may even be suffering from personality disorder of some sort. -
My first memory of hearing Derek Adams speak was on the radio right after they beat Celtic in the cup semi final. Expected to hear a jubilant bright young manager enthusing about the biggest result in the club's history. Actually heard a seething roaster raging about everybody who had predicted that Celtic were going to win. An asterisk went next to his name that day.

It's concussions that are of interest. You can go off with a head knock that's then later not diagnosed as a concussion, which will change the protocol for your return. Separately on this topic, I noticed that there's a textbook example of 'fencing response' , a signature concussion reaction, from Frank McAvennie in the game below. That's one to look out for when a player has had a bad head knock. -

A Photographic History Of Scottish Football

I was an autograph hunting kid after the game below where, for historical purposes, I was privileged to witness a iconic figure like Jim McLean going absolutely off his head in the dressing room, first hand. You could hear, and even see, much of what was going on in the dressing room from the narrow lane behind the Main Stand. McLean was going crazy, and I remember someone becoming his focus by making the mistake of answering him back to point out that they were angry. "YOU'RE ANGRY? YOU'RE ANGRY? EVERYBODY'S FUCKIN' ANGRY." Not sure who it was, but a torn faced Hamish McAlpine completely blanked the autograph hunters shortly afterwards, so it might have been him. Interesting to see the reporter thought that two minutes of stoppage time was a lot, although the two dodgy handball penalties were more in line with the modern game. -

Can concur with this. When I took in an AC MIlan game, security to get in was three layers deep and even kids were showing some sort of I.D. document that reminded me of the old British visitor's passports. It was all done pretty efficiently, though. -
