Vital win for the Tin Pail another loss would have left us in deep trouble at the wrong end of the table, Vale well on top first should maybe have been more ahead, second half muirkirk applied the pressure but the vale held out. Strange decision by the referee muirkirk scored then the resulting kick off... with the referee on the touch line taking note of a muirkirk substitution and back to the game one of our players kicked the ball away from the centre spot a wee bit of hand bags resulted but when the vale went to kick off from the centre he awarded a free kick to muirkirk.... the ball was not back in play so why the free kick strange decision to award a goal then the next touch is also a muirkirk player........odd ball performance from the diminutive referee........great defensive display when required today......roll on Lugar next week then Darvel at home in the Scottish....Mon E Tin Pail

Great work out for the Tin Pail started the game very well and were worthy of a three nil lead at half time couple of new starts showing up very... second half a raft of subs changing the game went four up the lost three Late goals with some poor defending... Lots of players missing so a good work for the boys and fitness ramping up roll on next couple of friendlies and some more players to see and assess. Mon e Tin Pail

Well Saturday has arrived all eyes on Carluke for the Tin Pail, hoping to attend the said game, however timing might be tight, if anybody attending game keep the p&b site up to date please. Whatever the outcome great season for the vale, started raw and fresh lots of players to bed in, finished like a train now a settled side.......well done to Mark and the coaching staff, but superb stuff from the committee and others behind the scenes who have worked tirelessly to keep us afloat......so whatever the result is today.................roll on next season can’t come quick enough....Mon E Tin Pail..............

What a superb effort from the lads over the last six or seven game no one gave a chance...but these proud young Tin Pail players have put us on the edge of promotion......To lose Kevin Turner so early was a blow but the lads pulled their socks up even at one day did not give up. Second half was an excellent performance and to put Lanark under so much pressure and eventually overcome them. If any justice next weeks result will go in our favour...if not to be roll on next season........Things definitely on the up down Fullarton Park keep it going. I must concur a huge ask for the boys but we turned a corner in signing two defenders we have stopped giving away the stupid goals we were shipping. But we have to be up for both games and take them one at a time. In retrospect with the amount of daft points we have dropped this season to be here and still in with a shout says volumes to the run we are on at the moment, momentum is with so roll on muirkirk next Saturday and see where it takes us. Mark, we are now halfway through our season, with this in mind and looking to push on for next season time to pick your best team week in week out, we have been constantly changing every week. A lot of the lads have stepped up from amateur ranks I agree they all need a chance to prove themselves at the junior level, some have done very well but others have struggled a wee bit time now to stand tough and pick your best team even if it affects some of your ex team mates and friends. Let’s now kick on big time for next season get us settled and look to the future. From the terracing things looking not too bad at all and playing decent stuff. Carry on the good work.

Last weekend I was surprised to see our game on, but the park while heavy held up very well, the pitch is not known for handling that amount of rain, the rain never stopped during the game either. Compliments to both sides for producing such a fine game in those conditions, plenty of passing and not a hump up the park. Well done to Lanark coming from two down to win three two, game changed when the vale left back was sent off for a tackle. The tackle happened in front of us and while I agree he was slightly late and deserved a booking at most, very surprised to see a straight red. The game swung back in our favour when the chap who had crossed the ball for the Lanark winner, ran in front of his own fans and decided to produce the get it right up ye gesture about 5 times, the referee then sent him off for ungentlemanly conduct.....another poor decision. That said onward and upwards for the Tin Pail hope our game survives this weekend but temperatures expected to dip below freezing could be a step a too far for the pitch. Mon E Tin Pail

Good result for us in a hard game Forth were a good side, great three points in the bag. Our no. 2 showed up very well in the game probably our best on the day. Cup tie next week at Cumbernauld mon the Tin Pail. BTW Arsene Tatters your are greatly missed at the games hope you are keeping well bud, hope to see you back at the corner flag in the near future ....

Vale of Clyde 4 Yoker 0.......Good result tonight from a young team full of promise for the new season, well deserved victory for the Tin Pail. Yoker on tonight’s performance are in for a long season all the best though.......
