Never understood these sportive-charity rides, the thought of paying silly money to get a medal to ride on roads that you can ride on for free(early mornings hardly a car) surrounded by once a year 3k bike riding executive c***s....no thanks.
Braden Davy....ex Northumberland separatist - switched to Labour to fight against Salmond in the last election(also voted YES indy 1) - now Tory dickhead who was involved in a hotel expenses scandal with Ross Thomson MSP who he 'works' for....an absolute careerist politician who is all over the shop and cannot give the people of Angus any answers to their questions...usually blocks them all on FB.
Thinking of doing the 4 glens challenge now...you get the choice of 1 glen (clova 40m)...2 glen (clova-prosen 52m) 3 glen and the 4 glen (clova-prosen-isla-genshee 90m).....bit of everything for everyone!! :-)
Anyone on here linked to cycling clubs etc....thinking about planning a cycle event in the Angus glens next year (may sometime) just wondered what everyone thinks of the route and what would you pay to enter such an event....food-drink...mech back-up...first aid...marshalled...all signposted.....and a buffet for the riders at the end (possibly showers) it may be called 'the 3 glen challenge'....clova-prosen-isla...let me know what you think? https://www.strava.com/routes/6420015
I need to get rid of the 25 cassete.....just a bit too much at times now...Cairn O Mount is a real struggle with it! I have never used heart monitors but if you sruggle then they may give you a guide of when to stop....no shame in it!
Know the feeling....i had to contend with a Honda S200 meet who passed me as i was on the Schiehallion climb.....all 40 of them racing like dickheads!!
Did my last 'big one' for a while yesterday......kept getting asked "are you doing the etape"....well i did do it and another 85 miles extra.. :-)
