    One of my mates plays for Plymouth and he was there when he was playing, said he was a cracking player absolutely devoid of confidence which is probably how he has ended up at this level.

    Would be good if he channelled his inner Paul Lovering and ran the show at left back, a needless red card for a 2 foot challenge at a nothing time of the game against Partick Thistle is more than welcome too.

    I think he's been quite steady since coming in but as you say he doesn't have the pace as he did then and it was a few years ago, we will see what happens come August when the real stuff kicks off. I think that when it comes to our squad we have players who are capable of holding their own at this level - Rae, Ballantyne, McCabe, Fordyce, Frizzel, Todorov and Telfer. We also have these two guys from Hibs who are apparently very good so it isn't as if we have a team full of jobbers. Gallagher is also proven scorer and if he produces a season as half as good as this we will surely stay up.

    Sinclair played a full season in the Championship where he won the league, but you're right he won't be able to cut it.

    I'd say we are in a good position especially when you compare it to this time last year when we played in the Lanarkshire cup, it was trialists galore.

    Got us out of of League One after 10 years and has signed up the core of the squad + added Todorov and the two Hibs players who are highly rated. Give the guy a chance he’s earned the right. Some Airdrie fans could win the lottery and moan about the handwriting on the cheque.

    Tbf to him he came in to an absolute shambles at Celtic and did quite well, so with the state Spurs are in atm they could be hoping for a similar scenario. I wonder who he will take from Celtic when he gets the job.

    What type of wage you reckon he would be on? interesting to see that considering he joined from Livi who aren't renowned for paying high wages. When Simon Ferry joined Peterhead he got offered more there than at Livi full time, £350 a week was the offer.

    My friend was involved in managing St Cuthberts Wanderers and he quit due to the travel at end of the season, was quite tough for player attraction as well due to the travel.

    Majority of the players in our group were professional, one the guys I played against played for England Esports and another guy played for Burnley. full time gamers essentially.

    Out in group stages, me and the boy who played were normal punters and the rest of the teams bar a couple had pro gamers in it. We had 2 teams in our group who’s players were professionals The other guy who played got beat 3-2 off a Clyde player, who had no hands.

    Jackie McNamara was at the FIFA tourney today at Hampden I was playing at and he is McCabes agent. chatted to him for a good bit and he said that he has a good few players lined up for Airdrie next season. By the sounds of it he was talking around half a dozen players. Didn’t even realise he was an agent, got round to that as I asked if he was still coaching

    I thought that McGregor was amazing when he came on. Still can’t believe we managed to turn it round yesterday. Hopefully we get the likes of Killie and Dundee United down as that will be great crowds wise.
