    Got London marathon on Sunday, got an email a few weeks ago asking me to confirm my place which I thought was a wind up so will be a laugh as training hasn't been the best. Will use this as a reminder to get my arse back into gear for the GNR in September and go for a big PB then.

    Looks like it is pretty much nailed on for the play offs now. Fancy our chances to have a decent run in it with having Raiths number over them and a pretty even head to head record with them. We also ran Ross County close and have beaten St Johnstone so we can dare to dream .

    I had a load of thorfi nodes that I just let deactivate, would've had 100 nodes by now if I kept them going. How's everyone been getting on with their coins? I've still got a few NFTs but no coins now as cashed all out to buy a house with profits.

    He will definitely be out the door, there was a big bust up with Derek Adams as he didn't utter a word to the players in his team talk before he went and slated them in the media and he was one of the players to put it on him in the subsequent meeting during the week. Adams is an absolute loon ball.

    Well done on getting round in 51 great time. I'm getting back into it again been up and down like a yo-yo. Got Manchester marathon and the Rat Race again (70 miler) in June 2024. Was signed up to a running coach called Nick Bester who's popped right off since I've signed up, moved onto one of his coaches now so the accountability etc is good for me.

    Yeah he was great, i think he only came here as a favour/for fitness as he had a lengthy lay off at the time for Liverpool.

    On the price range part here, if they are on £0 a week and we are a few games into the season where everyone will have spent their budget, surely they could become affordable?

    I remember he rocked up at a reserve game and he scored one of the best goals I have ever seen, he picked the ball up from inside his own half skipped by 5/6 players then smashed in from 30 yards. He used to get some stick from fannies on The Stomp saying he is a sand dancer and when he got his move they said he wouldn't cut it at Dundee United.

    Since November 2021 he has missed 316 days out injured, so you could end up paying a big wage for someone who then gets crocked for the season.

    Another great result. I text one of my pals when we went down to 10 men to say here comes the collapse so it is great to see that lessons have been learned from last season and we have closed the game out. 35 points should be enough for us to be safe so to pick up 6 from the first 9 with some difficult fixtures in there is great. We just need to get lucky this season with suspensions and injuries as we have a good enough starting 11 to take on anyone but if we have a bad run where we have the likes of say Rae, Ballantyne and Frizzell out at any one time it will be difficult to replace. The fee banded about for Devenney is supposedly 100k and then we got top of the League Cup group which is 55k which will be more than we budgeted to finish, then there is the gate receipts against Ross County. It would be nice to see us go for 3/4 experienced players from these windfalls and have a go for the play offs as if we can get lucky on the suspensions/injuries I could genuinely see Airdrie being a dark horse make the play offs. I think McCabe deserves the backing of the fans on here as while we appreciate that the signings have been underwhelming as we are getting youngsters instead of Smith/Wotherspoon, he has earned the right to be backed with the results he has produced so far this season.

    Been unbelievable to get 9 from 9 considering Dundee are a premiership team and we had Inverness away which is a really tough fixture as they will be up there. hopefully we can get a money spinner in the next round and get some much needed depth in the squad. Would be mad if we backdoor another play offs this year

    Be a welcome boost getting through as the 50k could mean a couple of good players in, even better if we get a good draw to go further or a Celtic/Rangers away.
