  1. Will probably update that next week, having a party on his birthday next Sunday, as soon as he sleeping tonight I’ll be back in the basement putting the finishing touches on the horrendously built cardboard Yellow Submarine I’ve put together for him, as that was the theme he wanted for his party.
  2. Up at 6am this morning. Drove to Lenzburg, dumped the car, took the train to Zürich with my boy(4 next week) so he could go to a vegan bakery and order every fucking thing he wanted(He is allergic to milk protein and it’s a c**t of a thing to try and explain in a country where “dairy free” doesn’t really exist as a concept). Then went back to Lenzburg and done a tour of the castle, which mostly consisted of him pretending to be a knight and battering the shit out of me with a plastic sword. Got home, done some gardening, had a barbecue and now sitting in the bathroom while he has a bath, listening to him murdering his favourite songs. Been a no bad Friday.
  3. Part of the reason it didn’t work out in the end, I decided the grass was greener elsewhere and went to mow those lawns instead.
  4. Going back around 15 years ago I was seeing an Irish girl who was studying in Glasgow. Her old man bought her a flat that was paid for by renting out the spare rooms to people she studied with. I ended up moving in and paying my fair share. I wasn’t complaining, it was in the city centre, literally a 2 minute walk from my office on Bath St, and I was paying far less than I could have dreamed of if I’d been trying to rent somewhere comparable privately. As far as I know her youngest brother moved in when she moved out and they repeated the cycle until he graduated and they punted the place.
  5. Wordle 1,010 6/6 More or less pure luck there. Had nothing else left that could make a word.
  6. Yeah, so this is definitely not happening. We were meant to be a corporate sponsor and I was in on that basis. We decided late on to sponsor another event happening elsewhere and by the time they told us, Zürich was fully booked and they aren’t for giving out sympathy starts. Have registered for Luzern later in the year, unfortunately it’s a tougher course than Zurich with a few hills involved, so with that in mind I’ll be mostly running round the forest until October:
  7. Merge this with the inheritance thread.
  8. I don’t think it’s too difficult. The sister looking after the mum should just tell the sibling acting the c**t that for reasons of long term financial planning she will need to start charging for time worked as a carer, and send the c**t a bill for their share of everything that has been done so far.
