Microwave and The Dirty Nil co-headliner at Òran Mór tonight. Both bands on top form and great sound quality in a venue I've not been at before for a gig. Great show. Opened by English grunge duo Sick Joy, a very enjoyable start to the night.

Punk Paradox by Greg Graffin A really interesting look at Bad Religion and the greater LA punk scene in general. The punk professor is a pretty fascinating man, it's incredible how he wove his academic career seamlessly with his musical one.

Bunny by Mona Awad Maybe the weirdest book I've ever read but I'm pretty sure it worked. Didn't have a clue what was happening or where it was going and it constantly surprised. Very strange, ultimately enjoyable.

Wishaw u20s 10-1 Blantyre Victoria u20s. Was presenting Wishaw with the Conference A trophy and medals tonight so withstood the biblical rain to see the champions turn on the style.

Went to see Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire the other night. Was it a good movie? No. Did I have an absolute ton of fun? Yes. Big monsters fighting each other. Utter nonsense but delightfully entertaining.

Watched the Mariners game on Wednesday night so of course it went to extras, however, Cal Raleigh hit a homer off the first pitch in the tenth and we went on to win 6-1 in Toronto. It's not been a great start to the season and currently sit 5-8, with the Cubs at home coming up this weekend. Can hopefully put a decent run together and get back on track.
