A point to note about Harvey's successful path - his right hand man at the time was Keith Wright (Ex-Hibs striker)

Could it be that Keith was the brains behind the project and now that he's gone; Harvey's been exposed?

As for boards lack of action.  When Harvey brought a senior citizen into the changing room to try and motivate the players to realise how much Berwick mean to the supporters etc.  That was basically Harvey admitting he no longer could.  The board should have recognised that fact.

And as for player turnover.  Harvey is well know as being arrogant and hard to get on with.  It's his way or the highway.  He's chased players from all the clubs he's been at because they didn't buy in to his ways.  At Berwick the only players he could convince to join him at aren't good enough.  What makes him (and others) think that this will change next season?

Don’t usually comment on other boards but never found JH arrogant and hard to get on with actually a nice guy !!

    That's nonsense.

Bobo Grant and Scott Wright both brought in by Ian Little and have improved Whitehill.

Part of me suspects Mitchell left due to Wright becoming the number 1 forward for Welfare but I'm not 100% sure.

Looking at Littles league record. Losses to EK, Strollers and they were unlucky not to get a point against BSC.  The only loss that people expected them to maybe get something was Stirling Uni, which was the most recent.

Drew with Dalbeattie, Spartans and Colts

Been a tough, tough run. Compare that to previous managers and the team are giving teams a game rather than being "pumped" 3-4 nil.

Listen mate I tell you what happened two bid where excepted for him ok one was Haddington the other leith the first time he found out about it was when one of them txted him and told Kyle that ww had excepted a bid for him went to training as normal nothing said to him from the manager so that told him everything he needed to know a manager that has not got the balls to say to his face it wasn’t until Kyle contacted him days later and asked what was the score and that’s when he said yes bibs have been accepted would you play for a manager like that me personally would I f**k !!!

Indeed that is football look on the bright side the laddie will be playing every Saturday now as opposed to  being a squad player. As much as I liked his potential 3 managers thought different.

That’s true mate two goals in two games for his new team so he’s doing no bad

I hear what you’re saying. But if the ‘top scorer’ is happy to leave and go to a team that’s mid table in an EoS conference with a slim chance of being in the EoS premier next year and more than likely two leagues below the LL, I’m not sure he’s got what it takes to help Whitehill.

Was not like that mate I can assure you two bids where excepted for him without his knowledge and was told they had to except due to money  did not want to leave he was gutted as felt not wanted but that’s football

Personally I think your bang out of order with that’s statment let me remind u for 1 he did not want to leave 2 personally I think he gave everything when selected 3 he was playing basically for nothing so to come on here and slag his as deadwood let me remind you !!! The way things are going the rest of the deadwood will be joining him in the EOS league !!!!

It's never nice to lose any manager but there was far too many lads left the club for me telling it's own story.

At least now wi half a season gone and weeks before our next league match we have a chance to get the right man in.

Certainly no gonnae be easy but least wi it advertised it gives an open mind.

Despite the poor run lately we have well and truly matched both the vale and strollers recently enough to convince wi a bit more experienced lads in we might have that chance of survival.

As for the new man in charge I'm sure there will be someone fancies it ,after all we are at this precise moment in the 5th tier of Scottish fitba where the many below are hungry to get to.

Should we stay up this season and wi the right man at the helm we could hopefully still be (5th tier) for years to come.

    Mon the Welfarrre!!!!

Still plenty points too play for and after sat performance should take encouragement as ww were far the better team some might say you still got beat get that however they made them look ordinary and they have taken points off good teams lately I’ve got a wee sneaky feeling things are about to change hopefully the boys will kick on from here as if I was a player I would be looking at myself and saying two managers in the space of 4-5 months let’s get a fucking grip here but words are easier that action .

Hopefully this brings some stability and preserves WW's lowland league status this year.

Im sure garyburger will be keeping an eye on this thread again.

You honestly make me laugh the man got more class than too come on here and give his opinion on ww he’s moved on so it about time the forum does too and look forward with a wee bit of excitement for the new manager

You can't read posts and see who won't say a bad word agsinst the players ???

If you see my posts I’ve been critical as I said earlier there not bad players just need coaching in the proper channels also I noticed you said about the young players not playing at a higher level well I no at least two or three that have also would like to stare at least 2 were unused subs against rangers at Ibrox and Hibs at Easter road and at the age of 17yr so them must have been doing something right don’t you think

Like groundhog...not once have I said I feel the management team are the ones to take ww forward but they are in place and as a supporter  there is nothing I can do....but they are joined together by imo a group of players that are very poor, the squad as a whole were put together last summer and this summer by the management team at the time, it's become a touch embarrassing now the way a certain few on here won't say anything critical about the player's but put the sole blame at the managers door. If people have opioion s about Whitehill and football at least have the balls to be truthful and not paper over all the facts because they have personal/family  agenda's to support

Who the certain few like ????

So who picks the team ? Whose responsible for the tactics ? Whose responsible for bringing players in? Why are players walking ? I’m led to believe another young player has walked ( not confirmed but missing today) your right about more than him to blame but the previous manager got more out of that bunch .  ffs you seem happy enough to let it go - for me the buck stops with the manager ., new manager-  new players  that’s what’s needed- can you tell me any positives about the management team? New players don’t just walk in the door you ve got to go and find them .

Agree !!! Im telling you right now the old manager would not have this team in this situation and il stick by that

I’m not saying there bad players all Im saying it’s poor like today when your bottom nothing goes your way there keeper pulled of two wonder saves plus the guy who scored the winner should have been sent off for use of the head two goal they got came from ww mistakes at this level that’s all you need

I think the next 5 years more or less every team  will find there proper level with maybe a few exceptions...the thing about Whitehill us we were always a small village team with a solid group of no more than 50 who were involved with the club for no more than the social aspect, what the issue always was that in the 80s and 90s the team were massively and I mean massively more sucsessful that it really should have been ( we used to turn up for cup finals wondering how many we would win by,that may sound big headed but it was the truth) where the bottom line is we may have the on field history etc but off the field we have never really had the infrastructure to go up the way in Scottish football, we have and probably always will be that one  man and his dog support type club....it done us well in years gone by,in these times I think it takes a lot more.....

Not very often I agree with you but I will give you this one good post

If it is allowed to happen players will take advantage , I wouldn’t imagine the teams at the other end of the league have any issues- which will be reflected in performances - I too stepped down the grades because of shift work .

I’m not saying take advantage some times in life you have got to work do you think under a 10 a weeks playing football pays bills come on and I’m telling you it’s well under a £10

I was giving him a compliment.

For yer info I had to pack in amateur fitba 26 years ago because I chose a career that involves shiftwork. Ye canny expect to miss training midweek and play on a Saturday it just pisses people off.  ;)

Sure it was a game and if you look at the squad sure he was trying a few new faces
