  1. That was a terrifying performance against God awful opposition. that squad at present will be relegated absolutely no doubts. I thought we would need 4-5 players to improve us, wrong it’s 7-8 minimum. Desperately worrying situation we find ourselves in. All the concern regarding Duffy that we all predicted has came to roost!
  2. Its better than the frightening prospect fighting a multi National mega rich sports company in court which seems to be the only other option.
  3. I actually like the strip. Can also add that I don’t really care what we wear as long as we have something worth watching on the park.. couple of proper players might just do that, fingers crossed.
  4. Pleasantly surprised we got a point today, genuinely didn’t think we would. Hopefully that’s a bonus point and we actually get the players required in that will provide the quality we are so obviously missing. Wonder if a player assistant might be helpful and possibly a way of getting a person who otherwise not normally come to us?
  5. I can only assume he was appointed before it was secured?
  6. And back to reality with that starting 11.. brutal
  7. No going to refuse it though are we. also I do think they deserve some credit for getting him on board?
  8. I assume folks here so far haven’t seen their emails this morning or perhaps aren’t owners. Exciting stuff. Potentially
  9. Not sure but I’m sure the grassy knoll on the other side from the “stand” will have been cut, I’ll probably bring my beach towel as I sure it’s will be a relaxing 90 mins for us all.
  10. Well he has played about 4-5 games now so a injury is stick on! Quite unbelievable he was offered a contract yet again
  11. If your getting paid you should at least try. Certainly if you are having a bad time it will affect your confidence etc but he never tried a leg, particularly last year when he was our Captain and we needed our so called better players to turn up and as I say at least put a bit of a shift in.
  12. That’s one way to look at it obviously but also still question his attitude while he was at us also. Anyway not our player now so no point in continuing discussing him now really
  13. Fair play to him then, because that’s complete opposite to the player we had. Especially the tracking back and getting stuck in bit. That was one of the main things that got to folk. Everyone knew he has some ability but when played wide he wasn’t interested in defending or covering back. Through the middle he was just a coward and never challenged. Perhaps shows what a change can do for some players.
  14. Obviously he’s still to have his obligatory injury, give it a couple of weeks or when you start a bad run.
  15. Agreed, I have little sympathy with anything that applies to LL directors / Boards after the B team fiasco over recent years.
  16. My reflection on yesterday’s game was that we are generally better organised and tighter shape that most of last year. Very early days and I actually thought we would be worse. Especially when I seen the team sheet and only 2 outfield players, both of whom would not change a game or far that matter give us legs. Fatugue certainly reflected in the score line, and by that I don’t mean fitness levels, we did not have the ball for most of the game and therefore required to work so hard for 75 mins before we finally died (and the lack of subs as previously said).Add also to that, having Forbes in midfield means the rest have to work so much harder. That said, he certainly has a pass and in L2 may have a bit more time or space. That will remain to be seen in coming weeks. I think the squad at present when one or two are back, will make us hard to beat your in L2 at least. However, what is clear to everyone is that we lack quality especially in attacking options. We are at least 3 short and that is being generous. I really don’t think 4-5 who started yesterday will start by the time the league starts.
  17. As I’ve said before the ignore button for such trolls is a great feature!
  18. First half we competed well, and yes they had a lot of the ball particularly second half. Stats slightly misleading in that 90% of their shots were from distance and caused Parry little problem. Difference over 90 mins was certainly the fact Hamilton had subs to bring on and we didn’t. Totally ran out of steam in the end which contributed to their 2nd and 3rd. Not as bad as I thought it would be against a full time team. Cameron still way out his depth and we have ZERO up front. The 5 or so players sitting in the stand will help and think there are 3-4 still to come in.
  19. Sad isn’t it. Which is why I said I wasn’t confident
  20. Agreed, that’s the squad bulked up a bit and I’m not chucking the toys out with those guys signing. Now for 2-3 proper players that would actually make us close to challenging. Not confident this will happen of course.
  21. I think most Clyde fans will describe his time with us as: He tried really hard but produced absolutely nothing catigory.
  22. The ironic thing is I think the board accept the model doesn’t work, certainly CIV initially did it’s job and probably saved the club, however as has been said that, in fact very recently if an alternative was available then the board is open facilitating a change. Unfortunately there is no one it would seem interested in taking over. Who would? There is very little to encourage anyone with finance to come in.
