  1. On slightly more important issues it would appear OTJ will be out for a while, according to his Twitter he's off for surgery. What a top signing.
  2. Seems the only player who fits Houstie's description, 6ft 2 midfielder and cup tied for the Petrofac cup. Probably better than Olu but there has to be better out there.
  3. Thought the problem with this game was Dundee charging away fans more than than home supporters? On free agents, the quality may have dropped by this time of year but there is still plenty players who would be more than capable at this level. The problem is trying to attract them.
  4. BPM has the board ever done anything right in your eyes?
  5. Highly doubt the fee is a million, even if this included add-ons. At best 500k with a sell on fee.
  6. No. Houston said that he is still looking for an experienced striker, whether that's Graham or not I don't know. Edit. ^^beat me to it.
  7. Chalmers doesn't really fit in with what Houstie has said, "Experienced player to cover injuries and suspensions". Completely picking this out of thin air but Tim Clancy would be the exact player we should be looking at.
  8. As good a player Gardyne is we really don't need attacking midfielders. Target man, box to box midfielder and a versatile defender should be priorities.
  9. First show him in a friendly (Royal Antwerp perhaps) and he looked a really decent player never really played at that level again.
  10. Can hardly blame him for going to Hibs. Probably 2 of the 3 years of his contract will be spend earning top league wages at a level he is more than comfortable at.
  11. First real preseason game so you can't look too much into it but a few observations... Negatives Poor distribution from MacDonald. Ollie and Taiwo struggle to play together as neither wants to drive forward. Lack of support for Loy in terms of a No. 10. Positives Alston showing he can hit a free kick. Loy finding the corner with his penalty, something which he and Millar failed at last year.
  12. Fantastic. Quick google show I can get a 5 litre cask for £21, tempted to say the least.ETA - can anyone confirm if the brewery is in the industrial estate or is this just an area for the ale to be held?
  13. I'd imagine it would be to allow Bowman the chance of a loan.
  14. Trialist keeper ex Hibs supposedly. Sean Murdoch the name doing the rounds.
  15. Did he not also play a poor pass back to McGovern in his first start, lead to a penalty and a red for McGovern. Up in Dingwall perhaps?
  16. Believe Millar admitted himself that he let himself go the summer he left us. Regarding signings I can't think of a player I've felt we've missed out on apart from John Baird. Even then he's that an irreplaceable kind of player.
  17. Verbally accepted. Nothing's signed I don't think.
  18. If I was in MR position (or whoever is in charge of negotiation) All players U21 would have a sell on clause attached. For players moving to clubs expecting to be an influence on the starting 11 I'd say add-ons are preferable.
  19. Homemade elderflower cordial with sparkling highland spring. Just Braw.
  20. MacDonald Duffie Vaulks McCracken Dick Fowler McGrandles Millar Alston Loy Skacel Allows us to be just as attacking with Fowler better defensively than Millar
  21. No idea where you will find this lager but at a recent beer festival 'inky pinky' was a firm favourite. Easy to drink and didn't leave you feeling bloated at the end if the night.
  22. Chorizo and Rocket with lots of cheese and tomato sauce. Also pizza base should be so thin it snaps.
  23. Sitting in the pub with my mate Houstie and he says this is a very good opening to the World Cup. #HoustieHardcore
