  1. Correct. Tell you what, let us Saints swap places, bored of all of this mob and Europa pish anyway.
  2. Sorry, couldn't help myself. And before any Dundonians jump in, I have lived next to Tannadice so 'Eh pure ken whit em oan aboot eh'
  3. Perth is far smaller and has a far lesser population than Aberdeen so to scale and at the time of construction of McD, my point stands. It's all semantics anyway.
  4. Where I will acknowledge that you have used the word 'Almost' I still feel I have to point out to you that had Geoff Brown not come in and Saints not made the move to McDiarmid we would 'almost' certainly be deid going on 25 plus years by now! That or floating around the lower leagues with a ramshackle stadium just managing to survive year on year. So suffice to say when you consider all of the above and add to that our most successful period in history as a club, I'd say great success was exactly what was achieved by moving to a modern, all-seater stadium.
  5. I'm forever pointing out the actual definitions of what each term means... Supporter: As you say, financially supports the club, aka goes to the games, match day/season tickets, merchandise, sponsor a player, club lotto, match day programmes etc.... Fan: Short for fanatical, see above but also has their entire house plastered in club memorabilia, also never seen dressed without some form of 'clubwear' emblazoned on them, likely a pretty poor and tacky tattoo of the club crest on forearm or calf, generally a bit sad and dim. However the term fans is generally taken to mean the collective of attending supporters. Follower: Every other c**t that says they are either of the above, but everyone else knows fine well they never go to matches, don't contribute to the club whatsoever, and only ever watch said team in the pub whilst giving it big licks whenever they score/win (Insert here, the majority of Old Firm fans and or folk that say they support an English Premiership team)
  6. All far too overly familiar, every transfer window is the same tbh
  7. Hearts rolling out the same old rhetoric once again I see. This game is pretty solid to call in all honesty, both teams each slayed a respective cheek of the proverbial arse last weekend so will likely be feeling very confident to begin with. On one hand it’s Saints away form that is keeping us in the top six as our home form is utterly brutal. On the other hand it’s all the way back in mid-October the last time Hearts played outside Edinburgh so could either find this very difficult, or be glad of a change of scenery. All of that aside I expect to see a pretty healthy attendance for this game, mainly due to the afore mentioned, as well as landing a couple of days before Christmas.
  8. As much as I have thought his time with us was all but over due to lack of goals this season, I too have felt pretty sorry for him for quite a while now. Especially when he’s close to the Score board end and some tit is giving him absolute dugs abuse. It doesn’t help him, in fact you can see him withdraw back into his shell so to speak. I dunno, I see a lot of myself in him so I’ve been able to read him pretty well of late. His comments come as no surprise to me whatsoever.
  9. Yeah, I think someone may have been pulling your leg with that one. Loaned from whom? His agent?
  10. It's funny because it makes it evidently more obvious that the situation at Hearts is some sort of weird dictatorship thing going on between Budge and Levein, probably including some sort of hideous bondage between the pair of them as well. I mean come on, this is like something you would read about Robert Mugabe or some weird Leader of a communist mirco state doing. Let's have a "democratic" election then just decide to be president anyway regardless of the results. In all seriousness though, if I was a Hearts fan I would be pretty worried about what's going on there. There has been all the stuff about Levein always being in charge in the first place, no smoke etc... Then of course once he's had enough of his puppet he's decided to get a new one, some of whom are pretty credible names that have dropped out because the weird dictatorship/ethos/5 year plan thing they have going on is bollocks and they refuse to listen to any alternative ideas. All culminating in 'Dictator of football' Craig Levein appointing himself, utterly bizarre behaviour.
  11. Cheers, howfin journalism as usual though. Forrester? EXCLUSIVE: Johnstone signs for St Johnstone St Johnstone have signed Denny Johnstone on a year-long loan deal from Colchester United. We revealed yesterday Tommy Wright was interested in the former Celtic striker, who was also being eyed by Dundee. But Forrester has picked Perth and will add firepower Wright’s side was badly lacking. The McDiarmid boss had been eyeing Conor Sammon and Miles Storey but the attacking pair opted for Partick Thistle.
  12. That's the repeat, it airs at 6pm on a Sunday now. If you miss that and don't want to wait until near midnight on a Sunday then you can simply go back to the 6pm episode and watch it on catch up.
  13. Nothing wrong with boosting a young strikers confidence early on, after all I'd far rather see him coming on off the bench than Cummins at the moment.
  14. Not good enough, specific time and date please.... In all seriousness though, surely if, as mentioned the player is one of three possible strikers and Macca's not going to play on Saturday as per, TW would like someone in by then? I know we still have Kane and Cummins but.....
  15. If you're not going to say whomever it is will you at least indicate as to when they are likely to be announced so we don't have to keep reading all your tedious Cliquey banter please?
