Double Winning St Johnstone FC Thread
SaintDougie replied to Kyle's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
But St Johnstone are such a well run club. No! I've said it numerous times before, St Johnstone are not a well run football club in the slightest. A well run business? Very much so, but certainly not a well run club. -

Dropped away from following this too much earlier in the week as the rumours and speculation were getting ridiculous and I didn’t think it could get any worse, oh how wrong I was! If the deals dead then so be it, fingers will get pointed, people will go in the huff for a while and then ultimately move on. However the optimist in me would like to think that as there has been soooo much complaining about Saints public relations (and rightly so I may add) recently, that they’re actually playing an absolute blinder here, trolling f**k out of all the moaners and all of this is a massive publicity stunt culminating in the announcement of May and whomever else has been targeted. Just look at the traffic online the rumours have been causing alone! Folk would be both raging and excited at the same time, although I suspect the optimist in me will be disappointed once again. -

Yellow kit's clearly Davidson though, nae mistiking those pegs. Looking at the Macron site it's not bespoke, I won't post the link for sake of spoilers but what I will say is it does have a collar. -

Can't wait to see what monstrosity will have been selected at Saints this season, September can't come quick enough! -
So we're guaranteed a one game play-off fixture at Hampden in March 2020. Now regardless of whomever we play in the play-off, if we win is that us qualified? Or do we potentially have a further play-off after? With all these potential scenarios being discussed I can't ever remember anyone actually mentioning what the outcome of winning this game actually is. I'm probably being daft mind.

With regards to goals conceded, it has to be remembered that the goal frames themselves are of standard regulation size, and of course in comparison to your typical man mountain of a professional male Goalkeeper these days, the female professionals are no where near the same size. In fact I watched the last WWC four years ago and while I thoroughly enjoyed it, I'll hold my hands up and admit that I was guilty of thinking that female Goalkeepers in general were just shite! It wasn't until this fact was pointed out to me that I realised that no matter how good a shot stopper you are, if someone is sticking it in the far-side top bin and you're 5ft 7 there's not a chance in hell you're reaching it. Unless of course you're Hope Solo, 6ft+ and incidentally world No1 female Goalkeeper. -

You really don't, nobody does! You may however pay Vehicle tax, "Many a cycle commuter in the UK has confronted a dangerous driver, only to be told they have no right on the road because they don't pay "road tax". But road tax was abolished in 1937 and replaced by Vehicle Excise Duty. This is a tax on cars, not roads, and it goes straight into the general Treasury fund." Personally my opinion is that there are just as many drivers on the road that are just as much of a menace as the occasional 'Rules don't apply to me cyclist' if not more really! There are far to many people driving around that really shouldn't be.

You mean to say that you're actually taking on board anything that's been said on the St Johnstone banter page as anything other than slavering p1sh!? Calling cards of Morons thread for that page. -

There's a sign on some of the bins in Edinburgh encouraging people to pick up after their dogs, fair enough. However the thought process that went into the scripture of the sign does my head in.... "Dog Poo spreads disease, bin it here...... Cheers". Eh? PLEASE! it should end with PLEASE! I'm actually raging just thinking about it, Cvnts! -

Pleased with this, Foster and Wright started to get a really good relationship going on the wing earlier on in the season, well suited to each others style of play. Look forward to seeing them link up again once Wright returns from his injury, albeit likely to be next season unfortunately. -

Some of the reactions in the stands when Spoony makes a mistake are way over the top at times, that being said he really doesn't help himself with some of the decision making when it's not his game. I do often just sit there listening to all of the derision aimed at him and feel entirely sorry for the guy, whom is usually just an ear shot away already standing with his head in his hands. Maybe it is time for a fresh start for the lad. -

I was about to post something similar myself. It's actually encouraged as it keeps traffic flowing better, precisely why there are signs that say 'Use both lanes' around these roads. Can't say I do it very often myself though, never in that much of a hurry. -

Came home to this last night after the game. Got back to Edinburgh about 22:30, Dug greets me at the door, where's the Mrs? Lying in bed doing dome sort of craft needle and thread thingy, fair enough I thought. So I head through to the living room to find what had looked like a fucking bomb had gone off! Stuff strewn all over the floor, used coffee mugs knocked over, bits of wood scattered everywhere, her fucking bra draped over the couch and the fire guard standing in the middle of the room as if I had just caught the fucker trying to escape out the window! Then I see the kitchen, a fucking midden with her dirty dishes all around the sink that certainly weren't there when I had left for Perth. I couldn't hold my tongue much longer so I said 'the least you could of done was your own dishes' to which she replied 'the hot waters been on' Aye? well that's just barry isn't it, half the battle won there love, ffs! Suffice to say I tided up her mess The dishes remain there as we speak! -
Stenhouse Motor Engineers is where to go, 195 Slateford Rd, Edinburgh EH14 1QA. Check their reviews on Google to get a general feel for the place. Failing that there's Brian Millars Motors just along the road past ASDA Chesser, they specialise in German cars, although I'll be honest enough to say I know very little more than that about them.
