1. Having moved house in February after nearly 14 years in Edinburgh, I will be back and staying at friends for a night out this Saturday. I can categorically guarantee that on Sunday I will have left the City and be back home for lunch, never mind kick-off! That's something that 'Edinburgh me' would have found inconceivable, however £27 a pop to watch a Hearts B team utterly decimate whatever guff Davidson throws out there is simply not worth it.

2. I've renewed, purely out of habit more than anything else though. I also have to factor in that we have our first wee one due in October so if I don't have my season ticket I'll likely struggle to make the effort to pay at the gate, seen it countless times before when the renewal is put off due to kids arriving. I have however moved seat due to the ticket office screwing up my renewal years ago and put my seat in the South end of the East stand, which I never once sat in. So feel free to minus 1 non season ticket renewal..

Would love it if St Mirren or the likes come along and gazzump us for Drey Wright. Feels inevitable he’ll sign for us though.

Drey Wright was sat behind us in the Main stand for the return leg against ICT, along with Ali McCann & Jason Kerr. Since then I have been convinced he will be signing for us again at some point in the summer.

4. For such astute business men, someone really needs to give them some training in Sales!

I mean, if they really do want out/shot of the club, going on about how shit it is to be involved with, how crap it is to be successful on the pitch, and how pathetic the fans are, is hardly selling it to any potential suitors is it?

Imagine trying to sell your house... Aye it cost me a fucking fortune, roof leaks, cold, damp and council tax is sky high. The gardens great, nice and big, but that'll cost you more in the summer! Oh and as for the neighbours? Yeah there aren't quite as many as you'd have if you lived in central Edinburgh, Glasgow etc... but they're always round helping out with stuff and supporting us when we're struggling a bit. Who the f**k wants that eh? Fucking nosey c***s!

All in all, it's shite! Want to buy it?

I would like to see us play with a lone striker for this match. If only we had Curtis Main,  imagine if we had turned him down in order to buy another centre back, that would suck. Also would like to see Stevie May given a chance out wide as the is crap up front and we don't seem to have any wingers. Glad Drey Wright is out getting bored of seeing him run intro defenders and giving the ball away.

Stick to St Johnstone Banter page mate...

Intae the mutton molesters tam, this appears to be a good day to bury bad news. I may not approve of the Labour Party in its current incarnation. Pheww, I think I got away with that. In other news Nicola Sturgeon is a dog, dont blame, blame me19QOS19.

Another defeat and there's no surprise attached to it.  Quite how Levein is still in a job is beyond me.  It's not even about results, he's toxic and no one will enjoy watching Hearts while he's there.

Safest job in football, he's not going to sack himself is he? At best you can hope he decides to go back upstairs and bring in some other scapegoat in to sit in the dugout. He'll still pick the team and rubber stamp all the signings though, so your fucked either way so long as the man is involved in any shape or form with Hearts.

Excuse the intrusion, but some of you might like to know that Steven Anderson has already won his first League 1 player of the month award. :thumsup2

No surprise at all, far too good for League one.

Unfortunately his Premiership days are behind him, should be finishing his career as a solid Championship player, and by current league standings he's on course to do that next season. Just depends with which club though!

BBC states:

Holt's time with Rangers is over.

Holt's Rangers contract ends next summer and he realised he was not part of manager Steven Gerrard's plans. The 26-year-old midfielder, who has not played for the Ibrox side since May 2018, will spend the season in Perth.

"I think it is the best option for myself and my playing career, so it was something I was eager to do," he said.

Holt's first impression when joining St Johnstone was that there are a lot of younger players - and, although only 26 himself, he sees himself as someone who can bring experience to the club and become a leader in the team.

Saints manager Tommy Wright echoed that and stressed the importance of having players with experience at the top level.

"He has given the place a lift already with the quality he has shown in training," Wright said. "I'm really pleased.

"He can use the ball well, has good mobility and can nick a goal or two.

"I think it is important you get as many players that know the league as possible and Jason certainly does."

This is an absolute nothing 'puff piece' story. There's nothing in it that wasn't known, or said when he signed in the first place.

It's literally just been published to appease one half of the overall arse, so they can type out how highly an ex-player regards The Rangers.

That, and absolutely nobody is interested in the Scotland game tonight because we're shite and have nae chance of qualifying from the group.

I don't actually know what we're going to do when Wright is fit again. Kennedy and O'Halloran are picking themselves on the wings - MOH in particular was absolutely electric on Saturday - yet Wright would've been in contention for our player of the year last year.

Wright MOH Kennedy

May

...in a 4-2-3-1 is perhaps the solution? Big job for the midfielders behind them, especially with bombing full backs, but a brilliant problem for the manager to have.

If only we had such quality depth everywhere on the park.

I'd probably opt for the above if pushed to pick all three.

Craig & Davidson are probably at the stage in their respective careers that sitting in a bit in midfield should (in theory) suit them well enough, a like for like sub with each other playing alongside one of the younger lads.

Although saying that, I'm not sure how effective May would be as a lone striker, he was always at his best with us previously when Macca was holding the ball up and laying it off for him.

Is anyone nervous that nothing will happen? It seems like the talk about getting signings in and working hard has been going on forever.

Na, there'll be signings. It'll either be someone from south of the border that nobody has heard of and be brilliant ala Drey Wright, or it'll be someone from south of the border that everybody has heard of and be absolute shite ala Chris Iwelumo.

That, or both of the above.

Wifes car going in for annual service on Monday. Will be waiting on the call and video telling me about heat damage and new brakes required all round.

Had this the other week at the Skoda garage. I received a letter through the door saying the car was due a free engine technical solution upgrade or some such thing, all to do with the VW emissions scandal a couple of years back. I thought f**k it, it's free so may as well!

Suffice to say after an hour of waiting the front desk/service sales dude comes out and gives it, you need this done, that done, new wiper blades at £40 a pop, full set of new tires, brakes needing replaced, etc... I mean the car had literally just passed it's MOT a couple of weeks back!

So I said thanks very much for washing the car inside and out, and bid him adieu.
