  1. That Stranraer shot off the top of the bar apart, it's been a genuinely horrendous half. Our team selection has been wrong.
  2. You can literally just drive in to the park that sits directly outside the stadium. Avoid parking between the swings and you'll be fine.
  3. I'm not convinced he was fully fit at any point. At his best he was almost unplayable but he just wasn't at that level enough. I do know that a current Championship defender absolutely hated playing against him.
  4. I'd love a goalkeeper. FWIW, the past week has convinced me we need another midfield option as we struggle if Cuddihy or Grant is out.
  5. On reflection, it might have been best if we had exiled Leighfield on Ailsa Craig after his shocking mistake at Stair Park last time. It is impossible to ever have confidence for a Clyde win. Hopefully Allan and Scullion play much better than Saturday.
  6. We've been the better side in four of the five games since New Year and taken just one win. There's no chance we're going to get the four or five wins on the spin that we now need to get back in the pack. Plenty of positives today within the overall performance but a fatal blow nevertheless. McCall will regret bringing Rennie on rather than Young for the rest of his life. Totally not what was needed at that stage of the game.
  7. We have been nervy but Peterhead have created nothing. On the other hand, we could have scored three. We need to keep getting Kabia on the ball. How many times has Pawlett been booked for diving?
  8. I agree with the general idea that Parry is past it; crosses, kicking etc. He was a strange re-signing but probably okay as a back up. However, he was also MotM in 2 of his first 3 games this season (Hamilton and Spartans), primarily by saving shots. Leighfield has flapped at crosses, sliced kicks, not saved anything and also panics everyone around him with wild shouts.
  9. I thought he should have saved the first as well, but that's definitely more on Dunachie.
  10. As far back as his debut at Cove. Parry at least has won us a point on opening day. Leighfield has contributed nothing positive.
  11. Elgin started like a train in fairness, pressed high up the pitch, but they puffed themselves out after about 20 and we have settled down. The temptation with Allan is to try and hit him long all the time and whilst that resulted in a great chance for a second, it also gives up possession too often. Some stinking performances from Leighfield, Dunachie, Howie. Not sure any of the rest have been that great. Big second half ahead.
  12. Leitch has only really been effective behind the striker, hence Rennie being pushed wide on Saturday after 15 minutes. It will be interesting to see how we start this one. I'd also not be dropping Lyon after Saturday. Dunachie goes out if McGinn is coming in. If McGinn has been scouted and we know he is decent then he has to start regardless.
  13. They've been out at the away exit the last two times we were up and they were winding up the wrong people on the first of those occasions (there was noone there second time to react to their nonsense). It's maybe worth an intervention before something actually happens, they probably only get away with it as they're on the young side.
  14. We have the fewest clean sheets in Scotland. If we do get King back then we should have enough in the attacking third (starters and depth). But we desperately need to sort ourselves at full back and in goals. East Fife and Spartans have mustered a total of two shots on target in the last two away games, and both have ended up as goals.
  15. That's twice where Spartans have spent large parts of a home game against us just sitting in their own half. Bizarre. They've got some decent footballers, and they'd be much better jettisoning Blair Henderson for someone who moves. We didn't create enough but if we start keeping clean sheets then that's not an issue. Another rubbish bit of defending today. Hamilton was excellent, as was Ross Lyon. Scullion really unlucky to hit the bar. I thought Howie was poor today but his floor is so high he's still a massive improvement. We really need to stop playing Dunachie at full back. Allan exactly the same as before. He'll score a goal but not hold the ball up well, or make the right decision in possession. Still, he is another big improvement. You sense we aren't far away but until the wins start coming, there's always going to be a worry there.
  16. We've been the better team, stung for a wee bit by the equaliser which again came as a result of not having competent full backs. We really should have fashioned a second goal.
  17. What's the deal with the floodlights? Will they be fixed for Tuesday?
  18. He is only 18, again like King he physically looks a bit older than that. He strikes me as a player who plays like he had a real burst of pace, but in reality he doesn't (whilst not being slow). There's certainly been a lot of poorer Clyde players than him but you'd imagine this will see us using the loan spot on someone better.
  19. He can kick the ball fairly cleanly, as in he'll probably finish a chance or two, possibly even from distance. Unfortunately for a wee guy, he simply isn't quick enough or good on the dribble. Him and that Faye from Bonnyrigg would probably be the worst pairing ever seen at L1 level.
