  1. Just where it says treble. The E/W's next to the selections are for singles.
  2. Oscar winning documentary "Undefeated" is on Film 4 on Monday night: http://youtu.be/dUt349BSxZk

Season 2 started on fire last night! To hear it only gets better is very promising. Amy Poehler is brilliant, I've seen her in a few things before but never really appreciated just how funny she is until now.

    Modern Family

Although I disagree (apart from on Cam being a caricature), I can see where you're coming from but you should really and try and let go of your hang ups about the characters and just let yourself enjoy it. The writing is indeed excellent and if the characters may not feel real, the situations and problems they are dealing with every week are. The show blends touching moments with humour extremely well and although it may not hold up well when compared to the absolute classics, there are no other sitcoms around at the moment that can come close to this show.

    Modern Family

What did you find unrealistic about it? I just ask as I'm quite surprised to see someone say that as for me, there is not a more realistic or relatable show on television right now.

Been meaning to get into this for so long now, so was delighted when it came to BBC Four. Enjoyed it so far despite having always heard the first couple of seasons are a bit slow and that the show is one that takes a while to get going.
  8. No, I just work for it. DavidMcG, who is also a poster on here runs it and a bunch of us guys also from here work and write for it.
  9. I thought it was a much better episode this week and it felt slightly more like old times. Really enjoyed it.
  10. You're not allowed, but they shouldn't be that hard to find yourself. Not really sure how to feel about it this week. I mean it was a great plot that had all the makings of a great Community episode, but the lack of laughs just meant it fell totally flat. You used to be able to count on at least 1 real laugh out loud moment per episode, but they've been non-existent in this season and without those moments, it just doesn't work
  11. Me too. I was expecting a train wreck after some of the comments but thought it was a solid enough episode, which still made me laugh a number of times (mostly at anything that involved Jeff and Dean Pelton)
  12. Downloading it right now but won't be able to see it until later today. You've not filled me with much hope

    Modern Family

Anyone else think Modern Family has been in unbelievable form this season? For me it is untouchable among other sitcoms at the moment, which is why it's a massive shame that Sky 1 don't plan to start showing it again until next month at the earliest. I'll just have to keep downloading, but it's always much better to watch in HD on the TV. The reason Sky do this is because they get so many complaints about show's schedules being off and on so much when aired as it is in the US (E4 get a lot of this as well), but I don't understand this, surely it's better to have them within a few days/a week of the US than have to wait months for it, even if it does mean you don't see them back to back every week?
  14. By the way has anyone been watching The Soup on E! with Joel McHale? It's a decent switch your brain off type show and is pretty funny most weeks.
  15. I thought we might see this thread re-appear this week, thought we had talked more than 3 pages worth though. I'm going to try my hardest to forget about Harmon and judge this on it's own merits as comparing it to before is only going to lead to disappointment.
  16. It returns for the second half of season 3, it's been on hiatus since episode 8 aired back in December.
  17. Resident Evil: Retribution - 3/10 I'm usually one to defend the film series but this was just awful. The portrayal of Leon, Ada and Barry was an insult to their game characters, it feels as if they were just shoehorned in order to appease the game fans and they done a terrible job of doing that. Funnily enough, I think this one did have a somewhat "game" feel to it with the whole Alice and Ada working through "levels" scenario and the amount of action scenes, but it was a more piss-poor low budget shooter feel rather than a Resident Evil one. The ending obviously leaves it open for another installment, but I think it's just time to let this one die. Sadly, the Box Office success of this one means that it'll definitely happen.
  18. Completed it tonight after buying the final chapter in the sale yesterday. Incredible and gripping stuff. I've not played many games that get you just as emotionally involved as this, a lot of my decisions left me feeling genuinely guilty, angry and upset afterwards which really shouldn't happen from a computer game Considering the price it cost altogether, this game offers outstanding value for money and even more so considering you could get the lot for under £7 yesterday. Even if you're not too captivated by the first episode, stick with it as you won't regret it! About the storyline...
  19. Saw him in Manchester this year, by far the best gig I've ever been to. No way I'm missing this one
