The season started slowly but the Ron and Lesley episode (episode 4) was absolutely fantastic, one of the best ever.

What do comments on his accent changes from season 1 to season 4 on the TV show have to do with the books?

http://youtu.be/z76l53LukE8 That's what he thought happened but Jaime tells him that she wasn't actually a whore, meaning she did truly love him which added to his motivation to kill Tywin. I've already said I'm not usually that bothered by changes from the books but they've already included the first half of this and it's something I felt that would have made the TV show even better, which is why I'm disappointed they left it out. However, like Paul says, the scene was 3 years ago so a lot of viewers would have probably forgot or been hazy on the story with Tysha, which is probably why they've left it out.

I reckon it probably would have had a big impact though. The scene in season 1 where he tells Bronn and Shae about Tysha is one of Tyrion's best scenes early on and it played its part in getting the audience to like and connect/sympathise with him and I reckon that TV viewers learning the truth about her before he killed Tywin would have made it a lot more rewarding and satisfying. Jaime telling him the truth would have been a cracking scene as well.

Doesn't really need to be in spoilers as the show has now surpassed this part of the book but will just in case: I'm not usually one for getting upset about changes from the books on the show as understand that these changes need to happen to make it work most of the time but I'm really annoyed that they've omitted... It made the scene very anti-climatic and a huge let down IMO.

Co-creator Christopher Lloyd was a writer/producer on Frasier. The Vegas episode was fantastic. When I heard beforehand that it was the first episode without the kids, I was a bit worried that it was going to be awful but it was one of their best epsiodes ever. The Australian episode was disappointing though, they tried to cram too much into the 22 minutes and it felt rushed, they definitely should have split it into a 2/3 parter and ditched a filler episode.

6th of June... I know I'm a bit late to the party but hammered through this recently, it's excellent. I'm a big fan of Weeds, so had high hopes going in and I wasn't disappointed. As others have said, some of the supporting cast are fantastic.
