Nugent...Ive played for Drumchapel Ams. Campsie BW and Petershill. Ive met Alex Ferguson and scores of other Scottish Internationals. Ive met Prince William and Emperor Niirohito of Japan....I have won Bravery medals through my job....and worked wi Jacktonite....when he was a constable....I have some cracking stories though I say so myself.....Id be happy to come on your show .

Sir, I have just came across a thread where someone asserts that Ruben Evans of Rangers was a Catholic and was transferred as a result. I have just mailed the individual to inform him that Ruben was protestan and his father was a Protestant lay preacher in Dublin. Just thought you'd be interested. My mother was Rubens cousin. I was in my Das house when he signed in 1959.

Slightly off thread... I think that's Riverside School down in the left hand corner. For those that knew him, Stewart MacLachlan, ex Queens Park, was the Headmaster there. I think he is now Referees Supervisor for Scottish Schools. His photo is in the Hampden Museum.

That would be the old North British Loco Works in the foreground. The buiding to the right, with the quadrangle, is the former Flemington St College - now part of the new North Glasgow College? Railway apprentices served part of their 'time' there.
