  1. The all blue one is the same template as us. It is a very nice kit (tho not a Morton kit IMO).

surely Nike do blue and white hoops? If not, then any one of macron, Pendle sports, Puma, errea or Under Armour do.

Not sure what the obsession with Nike is.

I always thought there was some form of contract/agreement between clubs & kit manufacturers, guaranteeing demand for the manufacturer & discounted prices for the club. Maybe just making that up though.

  2. I know Morton don't get to design their own kit but if the blue part was a bit slimmer you'd have a cracking version of the Ajax kits.

I agree with that, but we'd still have the sponsor to deal with. Still, at least we're moving up in the world - last time I remember this part of Dougie's sweetie empire being on our kits, it was only Half Pounders.

Full quid now, a sign of the increasing influence money has on football.

  3. Correct.

If I was a Morton fan, I would see it as a success too. To quote one of their fans on here, this has been a 'superb' season for them. I hope they enjoyed it, they deserve this triumph.

To be fair, any football fan in the west of Scotland who doesn't choose the Old Firm is deserving of everything that's coming to them. Whether they're from Greenock, Paisley, Hamilton, Motherwell, Kilmarnock or Ayr... The fans of these towns clubs are the good guys. They didn't choose the easy option and for that they deserve their dues.

I agree with you, but Hamilton, Motherwell, Killie, Ayr and your lot can still f**k off.

  5. How is it? He'll get bigger offers than what we can afford. What a total overreaction.

An overreaction, maybe, disgrace is the wrong word - I'm sure there are far more eloquent ways of putting it. Regardless, I don't think it's misplaced to be bother/either disappointed and/or angry at his departure. We should make keeping players like this a top priority regardless of timing - not another task to be completed at the end of the season. The boy was excellent last season, and as soon as any interest popped up we should've been looking to formalise an agreement of some sort.
