We're just a "thanks for playing" away from a full house - surprised it hasn't come yet tbh.
Anyway, I feel I've stated my case pretty clearly. Can further explain my disappointment if need be.

Maybe if we collect enough tears we can send them to Cappielow to appeal this atrocity.
I'll just get that Celtic fan to start another petition, no bother.

I like the pinstripes, how is that more boring than plain hoops? We've never had it before. Between that and 3 were always going to be the choice and most people would have been happy with either of them.
#1 wasn't that bad but was never going to get picked
#2 was pish
#3 was bold as f**k
#4 was, as stated, a dodgy Celtic top from the Barras
#5 would've been perfect if it had been done better
So Morton can't do any designs that Celtic have ever had? We were wearing hoops and luminous yellow before they did but I doubt they were greeting about it.
Why would we want to? When we're getting out-the-catalogue hooped pished, obviously there's hundreds of teams who'll be wearing similar.
But when we get the chance to properly decide on a unique and custom-made design, then choose something that's already been done - by Celtic no less - it's fucking boring.

You mean it has wee lines through the hoops like that one but everything else is different?
Yeah suppose so. But grrr they picked the most popular choice! Gnash, wail etc.
I mean it's almost identical, and kind of weird that we're now hearing about how changes/alterations can be accommodated - shouldn't that have been clear from the get-go?
Anyway, we picked the 2nd most boring design.
Grr, people express an opinion contrary to the outcome, what an outrage

Don't be mad, it's very smart. I don't think this attitude of comparing everything to Celtic is very healthy. Wee man syndrome.
I'm not comparing everything to Celtic, it's almost identical to their 2013/14 kit.

I'm really happy we decided to go with a repurposed Celtic kit.

They were just showing alternative possibilities. The tartan effort and the one with 1874 on it were both produced by PSL and are poor quality. Another supplier offered up the 2 good ones (retro and pinstripe). I think the club are considering going for an 1874 branding on the winning design and using it as a brand unless feedback suggests it's a crap idea.
Anything which plays up to our proud and unbroken history is fine by me.
f**k it, get a picture of Cappielow somewhere too, the oldest still-used stadium in Scotland or something.

The pinstripes is a pish, middle-ground vote. Not traditional hoops but nothing new, or even vaguely interesting.
Snooze-fest if we end up saying no to the retro AND the tartan options.

Still going start a petition to sack our fans if we end up voting for the pinstripe though.
This. Might as well get Hail Hail on the back if we're going for that one.

Kilday has fair piled on the beef.
Like a walrus in mating season, he must defeat the challengers to his captaincy in chest-to-chest combat.

Go tartan or go home.

From the shoot in today's Tele. Would happily take any of them, including the updated Ajax kit.

Fancy another go?

The tartan one is fucking glorious in a fun way. Go for that.
FTFY.

The tartan kit with 1874 on it would have been perfect. Can't complain though.
Time for petition #2 IMO.

Tartan hoops, please and thank you.

Morton fans right now
Yup. I can only hope that normality is restored by all of the kit designs being absolutely bowfin, but I am actually pretty excited for this.
Life as a Morton fan is littered with false hope.

Nathan Austin played in that team aswell, and he's far too good for Morton.
With fewer goals per minute than Peter Weatherson? Try again.

Michael Doyle from St Johnstone. Right back.
Can't wait to see Duffy play him in midfield then.

Wilkie has been outstanding this season very rarely did he have an off game albeit at a lower level but I think he would be a good signing for most championship teams
Jonathan Page played 34 times for the same team this season. Enough said.

Are Morton in for Kyle wilkie from East Fife?
Isn't this rumour a month or 2 old? I'd hope we'd be looking for better, but he'd probably replace McKee as backup for Tidser (assuming Tidser isn't perma-crocked, which remains a possibility).
I always thought McKee and Wilkie were fairly similar players, decent technically but too inconsistent to ever properly hold down a place.

Jamie McCormack/Mark Fitzpatrick and they'd have some back four.
The mind boggles. I actually can't imagine a defence with more catastrophic bombscare potential.

They've got Crighton, so conceivably could go with a Miller/Crighton/Cole back three...
That's fucking spectacular.

Offft, now there's a first.
Like I said - anything you're needing explained further, I'm happy to discuss.
