Time to give up on Brophy and Tanser IMO, both absolutely miles off it. I think Main was injured but we just couldn’t get the ball to stick after he went off. The midfield was hopeless too. Huge credit to Carson for the save in the first half and strolling the shootout.

Terrible quality but very entertaining game, 3-1 definitely flattered us though. Think we need one of Erhahon or Gogic in midfield at all times, that middle three was feeble without them although O’Hara did well second half. Ayunga is always excellent or terrible and nothing in between, you’d be as well taking him off at half time when he’s playing like that. Some baffling decisions from Goodwin including how long it took him to sub a crocked Coulson and letting the keeper go up with 6 or 7 minutes left to play.

This second half performance has been a reminder of what Erhahon brings to the team, we’re really weak in the middle without him. Main off instead of Ayunga is nonsense as well.

That 65th minute booking for time wasting would suggest we haven’t learned our lesson from Wednesday, need to nick a second goal.

We’re a much better team with Kiltie on the park IMO, even in that deeper position. Doing well so far but just need to get some better deliveries in.

Time to get Shaughnessy back in the team. Gogic made a mess of the second goal but I’d still move him back to the middle of the park, the middle three have been miles off it defensively.

Looked a clear penalty to me unfortunately, Tait’s forearm was fully extended out and I thought that’s what the ball hit. Still think the midfield three need to concentrate more as there’s been too many times where Tait or Strain have been left 1v2.

Delighted with any win against United but we were much better today than the last two games. Main is a pleasure to watch these days and I thought Tait and Strain both did a very good job as well. Thought the middle three were still a bit off it at times though, think we need to start making changes there earlier in the game. United were very sloppy at times. Behich was visibly knackered after about 70 minutes, we had so much joy on that side late on.

How is Shaughnessy still not getting a game when Gallagher and Tanser are both missing?
