From an Annan perspective we only gained 11 points in the 1st half of the season ( 3 in qtr.2) ,started to come back with 12 points in the next quarter & now 7 points already in the run in. Past form counts for nothing but current form and momentum does - nice for us still to play 3 of the full time teams at home.Hopefully Falkirk are in holiday mode the time we play them in our last home game but I can see our last away game to Stirling being a decider for 9th.spot. Normally I don't give much hope for that team in play offs but this year I think 9th.spot will be too much for any League 2 team BUT - 2leg Cup tie who would know !

After the Bradford disaster I'm surprised the main stand at Palmerston is still open - surely all that wood will be rotten now, no to mention a Warren of cubby holes withe no obvious fire exit. Lets no get started about the wilderness at the back of the Portland Drive Terrace,or a lack of a bit o paint at any of the turnstyle gates. Terregles St. Terrace - is it still condemned ? This great full time team, The MAIN team in D &G ! Yes admittedly the away Terrace at Galabank slopes away at one end, pretty poor but correctable , but more than capable for most League 2 & League 1 fixtures apart from when some big teams come down like Falkirk. Oops , where are Queens in the League . NOT so good for a so far superior team.

Listen - Queens are the bigger club, full time,beat us 3 times already this season.Are you worried ?

Lets forget the strippers - be revolutionary. Sell Galabank for housing & move up to the scheme - Stadio Weyroc, part of the new super park.

Short term ambition - to stay up this year whether through 8th.spot or winning playoffs. Longer term ambition of consolidating in League 1 with a target of making playoffs for promotion. Natural order - probably a yo yo team between League 1 and 2, hopefully no lower. Other aims of improving ground facilities for the away end and improving matchday experience.

I'm an Annan fan but I thought Malik Zaid was top class.Fast,great touch never wasted a ball. Geographically more difficult for us to sign boys from the East ( shit roads etc ). This boy will get better
