Started this season the exact same way we finished the last- unorganised, no plan b, no confidence, riding our luck when in front, ignoring major flaws in the team selection, attempting to ‘park a non existent bus’ as someone else said before. Tonight, would always have had miller start as and actual striker playing up front, Cardle and Gordon off him. Gordon benched was ridiculous, I get not everyone can play amazing every game but the runs into the box that Gordon gives are devastatingly missed when he’s not in the team. Cardle looked lost had no one in front of him to turn the ball onto all game, Miller always too far back and I genuinely barely remember anything Jones did. I get he needs time and I really can see a player there somewhere but just do not think that was our strongest team. Pass marks for Penrice (nothing got past him first half especially), McGinty and probably Saunders. Genuinely don’t think defence was awful, just set up was terrible and after the goal everyone to a man lost their heads. Anyone thinking we can win/challenge this league with this team, needs to watch that game back a few times. We are devoid of a change of plan. Fox to start next week.

I was pretty meh about the kit until I zoomed in. If that faded out thistle is everywhere it could be interesting.

A win by two goals here takes us 6th, 6 above Falkirk with a better goal difference, with six points to play for. Absolutely huge, hopefully the atmosphere tonight as gc talked about on jagzone has lifted them and they can push on. A win here as above puts us in a great place, lose and it’s nothing gained nothing lost and just all to fight for in the last two. Cannot wait either way, too much hope after that result, we’ll get pumped now.

Canny See county chucking it, they might drop pints here n there but nowhere near enough to Chuck it. Playoffs are the best anyone can hope for n it’s very nicely highly contested this year. The fact Dunfermline are in the mix just shows the romance of the league nevermind the cup. Dundee Utd will surely be second but that’s all, county are not bottle merchants, not saying anyone else is but they’ve all bottled their chance to take advantage.

I mean if he was smart his extension would surely include a relegation clause. He can do the job if he was at county they’d have secured the league by now, I can’t inagin someone like him settling for league one at this point in their career. I do tbf see it as highly unlikely queens will be in the mix, I can’t see past us and alloa for bottom two and I’m by no means a Caldwell hater. Just think everyone else has picked up enough n queens are still to do so. Hope we can keep it going but all heads face to Tuesday first. Huge game before a huge huge huge weekend at Falkirk.
