I've got a season ticket for the main stand but if for whatever reason I fancied watching a game in the South Stand am I able to do that? Has anyone else done this before?

I'm in the same boat, the negativity on here is definitely over the top this early in a season so it makes you more likely to defend the team than contribute to the avalanche of criticism. I think Miller is being considered as Baird and McHugh seem like too similar (I've only seen 2 games so far so this could be nonsense). Both come deep to get the ball which leaves nobody in the box and clogs the midfield. We really do need a different option, Houston signing Morgan and looking at Miller suggests he wants a target man in the team which is no bad thing provided we're not just going to lump the ball up all season. I'd probably prefer a bit of a poacher than a target man but not sure who's about that we could sign.

Good point. The cup final support is something which I haven't considered actually. If we managed to hit the ground running this year then these fans could become regulars.

I'm not saying i'm delighted with the club at the moment but next season is the real test, there'll be no arguments if we can't compete next year even if Hibs don't get promoted. Last season was an anomaly to be fair as 1/2 of those 3 teams was always going to get promoted. If Rangers are promoted then there's no reason we can't compete with Hibs/St Mirren /whoever gets relegated. That's when we'll really see what the board is made of. In other news, Heffinho signing for QOTS according to the BBC (Gossip). Interesting to see how he gets on there.

Every single post I've seen of yours has been an attack on Houston. Give it a rest FFS! We're only three games into the season! If we're not in the playoff mix come Christmas I'm sure a lot of people will agree with you but this early on when the window is still open and squads aren't finalised it's daft to talk about getting rid of the manager. I'm actually looking forward to Saturday, hopefully only 2 central mids playing though!

I think for us it's just been too long that we've had a real go. Last season was our worst in a while but we had the cup run so it kind of balances out in my mind. I agree that if we're not at least challenging St Mirren for 3rd then questions need to be asked, anything can happen in the playoffs so it's a realistic goal for us. Then next season we have to be going for promotion directly.

We are selling Botti to Swansea I suppose. He's just skipped the usual step of playing a decent amount of games for us first. It seems that people have high hopes for O'Hara and he's been about the first team pre season. I've never seen him play, does anyone think he can make the breakthrough?

Cheers! I thought you'd end up paying another £100 or so, I'm going for £600 all in too so I should be something similar hopefully. I'm with you in maybe wanting to get more accessories but at the moment I'm not sure whether I'll take to it or just sit in my cupboard so didn't want to go too overboard. Plus, Evans seems like a rip for the accessories so I think i'll be able to source the stuff cheaper elsewhere.

I'm going in for the Cyclescheme as it seems a decent deal although I'll mainly be cycling to the train station and possibly along the canal. My ambition is to cycle to Falkirk games which are a reasonable distance away. What's the deal with the options at the end of the scheme? If you end up paying for the bike again does that not negate the savings made through tax? I'm hoping to get a Jamis Novas Sport 2015 Crossbike providing it's still on sale when the certificate eventually comes through. Anybody have any opinions on that bike (I haven't cycled since I was 15)

Thing is, with McHugh and Baird we look certain to be playing 2 up front this season which might not suit Farid unless you have someone like Sibbald playing just off him. Then we'd have those two on the bench. At least we'd be able to accommodate all our central midfielders.

Didn't we move Kingsley to centre half as part of that experiment? Also, I've not had the season ticket through. I know we're away on Saturday so it's not urgent but has everyone else had theirs?

I really hope they have a blinding start and we can relive the madness all over again.
