  1. The clock is ticking for Aberdeen’s chances of qualifying for Europe, with an 11-point gap to bridge. It’s crucial that we capitalise on our upcoming home games to secure the points. Although our historical record against Motherwell at home isn’t stellar, let’s remain hopeful for a positive result tonight
  2. I attended Hamish Hawk's performance at the Barras on Saturday, and it was an incredible gig that I anticipate will make it into my top 10 by the end of the year. My initial encounter with Hamish Hawk was in November 2021 at the Great Eastern Festival in Edinburgh, where he played an acoustic set at Summerhall and later performed at the Queen Hall on the same day. Witnessing the sold-out show at the Barras on Saturday was almost like a full circle moment. I'm attending a Pip Blom concert at Oran Mor tonight.
  3. Planning to attend this gig, he will also be part of the Stag & Dagger Festival taking place on Saturday, 5th May in Edinburgh, and Sunday, 6th May in Glasgow.
  4. I've booked flights for Portugal and Poland. Following the Poland home game, I'll fly to Lisbon the next day, ensuring I have enough time to reach the match venue. The return journey is a bit tight, but the flight is scheduled for late afternoon on Monday. After the Croatia home game, I'll fly to Warsaw the next day, providing ample time to reach the match venue. However, the return on Tuesday morning may be problematic if, by any chance, the match isn't in Warsaw, though it typically is. I've opted not to book for Croatia yet due to their frequent venue changes and uncertainty about transport links. I'll wait until the venue is announced before making any arrangements.
  5. Scotland opponents all plays at various stadiums. Poland I think will be either Chorzow or Warsaw
  6. Great line-up, but don't think I'll be going if Scotland qualifies for the knockout stages in Germany.
  7. Booked tickets for the Stuttgart Open tennis final scheduled for June 16th.
  8. https://www.htafc.com/news/2022/november/kenny-miller-joins-town-as-assistant-coach/
  9. Kenny Miller, who held the role of assistant manager at Huddersfield Town, along with the manager, faced dismissal from their positions. Following this, Neil Warnock took charge and effectively rescued the team from relegation.
  10. Willie Miller expressed the same sentiment. To have any chance of securing a place in Europe through the league, it is crucial that we achieve victories in February. That's why Neil Warnock is serving as the interim manager. This will provide us with the opportunity to appoint a new manager in the coming months
  11. Rangers have suffered due to securing only one point from their matches against Aberdeen this season.
  12. Calderwood's tenure doesn't seem impressive, with only two European qualifications and unattractive football. In contrast, McInnes consistently secured European qualifications every season, and the quality of play was enjoyable in the initial four or five seasons.
  13. Couldn't make it up!!!! Over the course of two months, the recurring theme has been the consistent call to dismiss Robson. With Robson now let go, there is celebration surrounding his departure. Nevertheless, today's perspective suggests that terminating Robson just a day before the transfer deadline was an error.
  14. Gigs for February: Thursday 1st: Steve Mason and also Redolent (St Lukes) - looking forward to seeing Redolent Saturday 10th: Hamish Hawk (Barras) Monday 12th: PIp Bloom (Oran Mor) Monday 26th: NewDad (St Lukes) Would have skipped Steve Mason because it's midweek, but I'm genuinely eager to catch Redolent. It's great to witness Hamish Hawk at the Barras, and it's well-deserved. Being a huge fan of Pip Bloom, attending this was a must, and I also enjoy a lot of NewDad's material.
