  1. I would say after our experience with mcglynn and injuries that, that is something mcpake and his staff should be facing questions about as well tbf. I thought I'd seen something about bene and maybe hosler being pretty much out for the rest of the season? I don't think you'd be where you are if bene was fit for the majority of the season. Too many inexperienced defenders/ otoo, Hamilton, Comrie etc having to play cb. Seems a massive imbalance to your squad if you do want to deviate from mckapes beloved 352 as well.
  2. What's the case for him to stay at this stage? You're going down if you don't make some sort of changes and chris kane for all his work rate is unlikely to be the saviour you need.
  3. I would like to amend mine to ohnononowheredidfrankconnergo. Weird how he hasn't been seen this season...
  4. Probably the shit patter that he wasn't pleased with tbf buch
  5. Although I agree with you, it would have been money diverted from other places with no potential return on that investment. Sim has spoken for a few years now about wanting to do something with it and now the new guys apparently see the appeal to it and considering their ambition with everything I can see there being moves to finally get fans back in there, hopefully. Maybe Potter is just getting lonely sat in there on his own every other week.
  6. He was right when saying that and hopefully you are right also.
  7. Railway stand has always been the best view in the stadium Imo. Can understand why it was left to rot with our crowds not needing to have every stand open but it's a shame it's taken this long to really be considered for being brought back up to standard and used again.
  8. Can also play lb fairly well as we seen in the challenge cup last season. It's quite interesting how earlier in the season teams made a point of attacking us in to our fullback areas. Once they clicked on to the massive gap in front of our cbs they've started doing that more and we've subsequently went a horrendous run of form. Teams clearly see dick and millen as our weak links but have found a better way to attack us as a team now.
  9. Surely there's some client confidentiality type issues there for that to be legit. Starting to think they need to get this guy in the phone...
  10. Murray has stated his reasons for not doing that this season and I agree with it 100%. He hasn't played at a professional level before this season so giving him the basics before having him then go out or play week in week out will serve him alot better than just chucking him in at the deep end at whatever club would take him right now. Control how he is introduced to the professional game and look after him in the process Imo.
  11. Tried getting in to it a few times but it just isn't a patch on mw1 for me. The gameplay is probably half way between mw1/2 for me but I probably played more of rebirth island or whatever it was called once verdansk was gone. Is it not just called season 2 reloaded at this stage? I used to watch marleythirteen playing when I wasn't working and still catch the occasional bingo game of his on a Sunday with it but it doesn't look like it has improved enough to grab me back in
  12. The harm would be potentially harming his development. I'm far from dicks biggest fan but at the moment dick is our best and realistically only option at lb.
  13. Are you not on the telly and can tell the manager to play that way though...
  14. It's probably the 1 win in 8 games that is the issue. Being 4 points off the top of the league, is undoubtedly a great thing, but 1 win in 8... I'm not even in the Murray out brigade, can't get away from the fact we've beaten an awful pars side and literally no one else since we went up to Tannadice. Our next game could see utd go 7 clear when we where, ourselves 5 clear. At least they don't have a game in hand now though.
  15. Not sure pointing out how shit our defence to the opposition would be the most wise approach, even if it is common knowledge at this stage.
  16. That ship sailed when we didn't sign any defenders in January. It's not all the defences fault but that goal last night summed up our defence this season. The most dissapointing aspect of it all for me is that we've put ourself in to a position we where 5 clear at one stage through scoring goals. There was always going to be a slump with that but our defensive game hasn't stepped up to meet that shortfall. That's ultimately bad management and recruitment. I think rudden is the better signing we made out of the two as he will offer more than turner by the looks of things and with Gullan going we did need another striker, but we needed at least 2 defenders in especially with oreilly leaving. Our goal has to be capturing some sort of form again to go in to the playoffs in a strong second place. Anything less after the first half of the season should see Murray shown the door tbh.
  17. Anyone able to tell me how to stick that attention seeker on ignore?
  18. Assuming you mean the church, those have long since been lost.
  19. Dabrowski is actually excellent at pushing it wide. It used to be a European way of doing it and Goram is probably the first time I remember seing it being done regularly on these shores but it just clears the danger and stops you worrying about spilling the ball right in to the danger area if its done well. With the technical players we have I can see why they want to play it out but it's just crazy playing that way from a defensive pov. Dennis being at the game yesterday must have been raging seing our defence. What we would do to have someone of his ability in there right now.
