All of which comes back on Gary fucking locke. That comes back on our amazing board who manage to run at a loss when the team is gaining more prize money than normal. Shambles from top to bottom at the moment. I won't be getting a season ticket again next season regardless of the league we are in. They made a mockery of season tickets by lowering the prices a month into the season aswell!

Iv voted for bene for the second season running. He really is undervalued by our support. He's voluntarily played lb /rb this season and despite not being fully fit against Falkirk gave it his all. A leader on the park aswell when our captain isn't. It was him or big Jean, who is a very good cb and seems a good bloke also. If boaby hadn't got injured earlier in the season it could have been him. He was tearing teams to bits at times.

Stewart was in the pool gym the other day working his arse off and looking ready. Bene and Matthews were there aswell but were off the pace.

I'm still not really sure why we changed our youth system. The system mcglynn implemented seems to have produced the likes of callachan, Vaughan, Matthews, bates and Sean mackie who we sold to hibs. To my mind that's the most successful batch of youngsters we've had in a long time.

He needs a better finisher but he seems a decent performer.

If the board are serious about youth development they will stop giving our best youth players to rangers on a free and Dumbarton on loan...

People talk.... Might not be a great wage in the grand scheme of things but for a club our size it's a pretty big cost. One that doesn't on the face of it appear to be bearing any fruit.

I wouldn't be against us operating with a hybrid squad like we had when mcglynn was in charge. If we stay in the championship then we would be an attractive proposition for the better part time players while we would still be able to attract good full time players. I'm not sure if it would save us money but if it would I don't see a reason not to do it. Granted alot of managers wouldn't be comfortable working with that set up but as a club it's been our most successful method in years. We finished second having the hybrid squad so it's possible to maintain our championship status and push for promotion with that.
