  1. I didn't even have the game set for updates on livescore today, that's how rattled I am. Thank you very much.
  2. Watson, Murray, Matthews etc have all featured on the bench in order to give the illusion we could bring them on. That doesn't mean they have been fit enough to play. It's nothing more than mind games. Being fit enough to "ride the pine" doesn't mean you're fit enough to go and actually play. We lost to a premiership team today while playing 3 atb, none of which are actually best at that role. It is what it is. We do need to get at a minimum 2 defenders in Imo. A strong commanding cb and a lb who can get up and down while being able to actually stop a cross. Those two signings will improve our defence massively with Watson and Murray due back at some time in the next 18 months.
  3. I'm just going to continue calling out shite bait and this is it.
  4. What a giant killing this is considering our absolutely massive budget compared to the plucky underdogs of Livingston.
  5. Megwa is set to be the backup rb for Hibs and I can't say I blame them one bit, he shows alot of promise for an 18? Year old. Even if Masson doesn't stay with us next season, him improving his game to where he can get another professional team then perhaps down the line moves for money benefits ourselves. It also gives the player the game time he will want, which he won't get for a team chasing promotion in the championship. We've had far better youngsters than Masson not make it but bringing in Ashcroft would definitely give us the opportunity to get him out on loan, where the problem then becomes, does he actually get a game ala Mitchell who has struggled at east Fife ffs.
  6. Unlikely to be any cameras to catch it then unfortunately. Hopefully not much damage done or anyone hurt more importantly.
  7. Insert closing door on old man gif... We've definitely got a bunch of people who are causing more problems this season, which tends to come with having an extra 2k almost through the gates on a match day unfortunately. Club has done pretty well at speaking with the youngsters so far to get them to curb the nonsense so far but there's always going to be that element that don't listen.
  8. I'd imagine the clubs will be in dialogue behind the scenes about it but unless there's any video evidence it's unlikely to get much press because as you say there's incidents all across Scotland every other week essentially that are similar and it's also virtually impossible to prove it was rovers "fans" that did it without the evidence to back it up unfortunately. It's only the second time iv actually seen it mentioned so I'm curious if any spiders fans can give more details about it, i.e where did it happen? Apologies if iv missed that being said already.
  9. Tx I don't really rate Masson so I think we can find one better for the role you're suggesting however, Watson has barely been fit all season and Murray has played through injuries for weeks. By all accounts we're in for Ashcroft and he isn't exactly coming to sit on the bench. Him and a lb should be our priority right now Imo. Corr does show potential and if we hadn't been sitting where we are at this stage I think he'd have had more game time than he has had. I'd love the young guys to get more game time but you honestly can't blame Murray for going with experienced players to this point after the quite frankly, ridiculous first half to the season we've had.
  10. Fucking baffling after everything that's happened with the idiots after the derby game not even two weeks ago.
  11. It's very much a case of create chaos and hope something sticks approach but the past few games we've just not been getting the same bounce of the ball or luck with it. Queen's where set up to defend at that stage so I really don't have any problem with him taking that approach yesterday, it kind of made sense. The players just couldn't find that pass or get that little bit luck needed despite trying there hardest. On that, I don't rate gullan much but one thing I'll always say is he cares and works his arse off every time he's on the pitch for us.
  12. It really isn't a coincidence that our dip in form has coincided with stanton being out. Defenders are however a massive priority in this window now. I thought turner looked good yesterday and he should in theory plug the massive stanton filled hole in our team. It's utterly irrelevant if we have to play brown at cb and mullin at rb though. Scoring one more than the opposition will win you games but clean sheets will make it a hell of alot easier to win those games and currently we don't have a defence that's up to that and I'd argue, even when everyone is fit. We're sitting second which is absolutely brilliant all things considered but one win in 5 against a poor, injury ravaged dunfermline isn't really going to cut it if we do want to challenge utd for the title. Hopefully there's a little bit of pressure off with utd being back top and I genuinely think this break from league football has come at the perfect time. There's no reason we can't go to livi next week and beat them and restore a bit of confidence to the team. Just to single one player out, mcneil hasn't put a foot wrong the past two games and has done everything needed and asked of him. I think Murray has been justified in his inclusion over Thomson.
  13. Turner was at an industrial estate where hundreds/thousands? of people work along with barrowman and the people who took the video. It's not exactly hiding it from the public doing that. Just want to add my condolences to the family of Bill clark. He was a man of integrity and he done alot for the club.
  14. Has anyone actually figured out if paton is available for this one yet?
  15. Dabrowski/ mcneil dick Murray Watson brown Byrne mullin turner easton Vaughan Hamilton is how I think we could line up tomorrow with brown at rb and Byrne as the 1 holding midfielder. Easton may lose his spot to smith also.
  16. He's actually a very good cb all things considered. Not the tallest of players, but his aggression in the tackle, workrate and ability to pass a ball through the lines is why I'm not overly concerned we lost O'Reilly. We concede too many goals, but we also set up to attack rather than defend. When we set up to defend, we play Scott Brown in defence ahead of O'Reilly at Tannadice and it's arguably our best defensive performance this season. I still hope the Ashcroft rumours are true but I'm not overly concerned at the prospect of brown at cb.
  17. Makes sense with how I remember seing turner play at Stranraer.
  18. As in regan hendry? That's only hendry I can think of that we've had in recent seasons
  19. I'm almost starting to feel guilty about telling their salesman to f**k off for knocking my door when I was at my tea 6 years ago as well. Great gesture by them, wonder if they're paying premiership season ticket prices or championship season ticket prices though
