  1. I’m convinced some folk are happier to moan in that stand, does my head in. MacIver was getting pelters today from a continual whinger sitting near to me. Ross ran himself into the ground and has been one of our most important players but still not good enough for this guy. I thought it was an excellent display of work rate and application from us today. Donaldson’s red card was unfortunate, raised his foot to a high ball and was then met with an onrushing Bavidge and caught him in the chest. Modern day it’s a red card despite their being any real intent to cause harm. The sound of the impact and collective wince from the crowd was enough to convince the ref it was a red
  2. I think I’m going to be in the minority here but Lang’s volley at Annan for me. Calvin Miller for the importance of his goal at Hamilton would be my second pick We’ve scored some absolute screamers this year
  3. 22 points clear at the top Title won in March Undefeated with 3 games left 89 league goals scored Chance of scoring 100 league goals 21 league goals conceded What a season
  4. Hamilton don’t seem to have much of a relationship with the truth this season
  5. Nesbitt was different class today, would’ve been my man of the match. Also thought Donaldson and Mackie were great, Mackie’s ability to cover the ground quickly really helped stop any counter attacks
  6. I went for Lang, has led by example all season and helped others around him play better. On another day I could make a case for any of Lang, Morrison, Donaldson and Spencer, I think all of them have been terrific this season
  7. It was noticeable that Cove’s pitch seemed pretty hard compared to others. Ball bouncing bigger than expected. The pitch seemed quite bare and the ball didn’t seem to slow on it.
  8. Majority of them are boys from Denny and Dunipace
  9. I was the same, my first season of going every week and didn’t realise how special it was! Now 33 years later and my son is the same age and now absolutely hooked, it’s been brilliant to share the same emotions with him
  10. That’s got to be some of the worst officiating possible, linesman looking straight at it as well
  11. I’ve heard that he’s saw who also has decided to stay and wanted to stay with them. Can’t argue with that mentality
  12. Think Rose had ran himself into the ground, he was over getting energy gels and drinks before he was subbed
  13. Thank god that is over, that second half was not enjoyable! Well done boys, got to be proud of every one of them
  14. I can’t really see him going to Northern Ireland. The top two teams are Linfield and Larne who have a cast of ex lower Championship and league one players from Scotland. The wages don’t seem to be life changing. Is it worth uprooting to Belfast for one potential champions league qualifier match? He’s got a young family to consider. I’d be really surprised if he chose that move. He could easily go to lower league in England and earn a couple of grand a week which could well be life changing for him. He deserves a decent move and I hope he’s being advised accordingly. The similar situation was Declan MacManus, he was offered £3k a week to go to Wales, he was never going to be able to turn that down
  15. Decent signing if he can make the step up to full time, has been good against us for Kelty. Bit of a destroyer and likes a moan for a foul, a good replacement for Scott Martin
  16. Got to disagree about Hendo, having witnessed how bad he was at centre half last season and even Edinburgh last week. He’s just not a centre half, he’s too light and gets knocked about. He’s much better in the middle. Mackie should be sufficient however he looks miles off being fit enough to play
  17. McGlynn hasn’t suffered bad attitudes so far and has worked with him before, we’ll have to see how it goes
  18. I wouldn’t be surprised if the 10am update is another inspection at 12pm
  19. Given the forecast, a pitch inspection at 10 seems really early, the majority of fans won’t be travelling more than an hour to get there. 12pm inspection would’ve been fine
  20. The Record also reporting that Hamilton have made an approach to get Andy Halliday, is their chairman just writing the stories himself?
  21. It’s still 9 points, they’ve got a game in hand away at Stirling
  22. https://www.falkirkherald.co.uk/sport/football/falkirk-boss-john-mcglynn-on-taking-the-blame-for-edinburgh-city-draw-making-five-half-time-subs-and-getting-out-of-jail-4477416
  23. Hamilton now down to ten men. This should be the day we’re putting our foot on their throats
