WoSFL Premier Division thread

Beith number 6 is on loan from Motherwell, he's played a few times for their 1st team this season. I believe he's very highly thought off at fir park . -

Wouldn't have thought game being off will suit anyone given the games they both have left to play. Will this have a possible bearing on the title? , may hand beith a slight advantage especially if they can take something from auchinleck on Saturday -
If I was to guess it would be dorrans , also heard Kenny Millar mentioned as well but he has a lot of media commitments so unsure how it would work. Tbh can't see it being someone from our leagues

If it is beith that win the league again which is possible, even if they had the infrastructure in place to get liscensed, as far as I'm aware the SFA haven't reopened the application process. -

Beith fan here and we have broomhill at home in next round any thoughts on the outcome of this one. I know we played them pre season at Dumbarton and we won 1 nil but that was a friendly and not sure if they have improved or declined since then. Any comments appreciated

Not a darvel fan but looking at results there was more than one or two upsets . Cumbernauld of west's 2nd Division beating bo.ness.... what would that make lowland league ? -
Fair to say then your hot n cold looking forward to a wee trip north think it's something like a 420mile round trip. We at the moment albeit not playing 100%we are still getting results, suppose regards cup time will tell

Beith could be capable -
That's what I was implying with my post earlier in the thread . If Mick was paying certain players wages, it would be interesting how darvel will manage as the contract of employment would be with darvel FC so imo the club would be liable and whether mr gall has the finance to cover remains to be seen. They could off load the players involved. I have heard few of the better players may head to EK.

He will be offski along with the better players. The question is if the rumours are true regards Mick funding most of the players wages , where could that leave them as a club...lots of players on big deals and contracts .

I think in the case of beith they could raise the funds quite quickly if needed. Given the fact that where beith were a year ago noone probably in their wildest dreams would have expected them to be where they are now and dare I say it champions elect all baring a cataclysmic collapse. On winning the league we would still get the senior Scottish cup entry for next season. Yes getting your liscence and promotion can have it's benefits with more prize money etc but at same time operating and running costs will also increase. I to be honest would rather guarantee the club's financial future. -

The common denominator in this incident is kilbirnie ladeside, they have a group of supporters who follow them that seem hellbent on causing trouble where ever they go. You can to an extent feel sorry for the guys running the club along with the decent supporters, but these guys all know who the trouble makers are. I'd also be worried that there may be some kind of retribution and someone totally innocent gets hurt.
