  1. It's decent enough in theory. Not sure Newburgh would sign up for it though. They've played in the North Division when the East Region moved to 16 team leagues, but i'm not sure they would want to permanently distance themselves from Fife like that.
  2. Think that's what will happen. Especially with the SFA messing clubs about with licensing this year. The whole idea that "nothing will change for most of you in the pyramid" works both ways. It's not exactly an incentive to join and it gives a reason to not bother signing up for it.
  3. I never said anything about North and Highland together. Which is why I'm not even sure the North is to be included in trialling of the new rules and regulations. The reason for North's inclusion has nothing to do with pyramid integration. Rather it's easier for the SJFA to adopt the SFA set of rules as uniform across all 3 regions. Simpler for them to do that than juggle two.
  4. The way it seems to stand is that the West & East Juniors (maybe North?) are trialling the new rules and regulations to prove that it all works on that front. Any change to the current Lowland League play-off (licensed EoS champion v. licensed SoS champion) for the 2020-21 season will have to be negotiated by 31st December 2019. And the PWG probably won't meet again until September. EDIT: Maxwell's email regarding 2019-20
  5. I wouldn't accept Syngenta regardless if they have got a ground in place. Chances are they will apply for the EoS 2020-21 and just disturb everything again. Same with Dunblane if all they're talking about is groundsharing Sauchie with nothing in place for a ground in their town. Whatever people think about Bo'ness and Linlithgow junior teams you know they'll be in it for the long haul however things play out.
  6. Think Montrose Roselea was a relatively unique set of circumstances. They got up to Premier League level and got sort of stuck in the middle. Good enough not to get relegated, but no where close to promotion. They had the choise of existing region wide in the East Premier or play across similar distances in the North Super League with the potential to compete more. Apart from Forfar WE none of the other Angus area clubs really played many region wide seasons. So they'll probably be happy staying in the same sort divisions that have been largely uninterrupted even by the introduction of the Super Leagues.
  7. By the sounds of things the SFA punted everything until the next PWG meeting, which won't be until September presumably. The SFA aren't going to make definitive statements. To them its all up to the PWG to resolve. All these Working Groups are basically a dead end which is why there are versions dating back nearly 20 years.
  8. The Juniors should be happy, they're getting the better end of this trade. They get Linlithgow Rose and Bo'ness United while the EoS gets Glenrothes and Kinnoull
  9. If you want to put your tin hats on. Locheeboy last visited 2 hours ago, Ephesus joined 2 hours ago.
  10. The Highland League rule for applying for membership. If it's good enough for them
  11. Would of been beneficial if you'd said so earlier. After the March 31st deadline the EoS left the application advert up for while, then they even changed it by removing the deadline date. During all the subsequent discussions on the EoS extending the application deadline, I don't recall anyone saying Greenhorn had made any sort of assurance. You really would of thought someone during that month or more time period would of went "No, no, no that's not allowed!"
  12. I'm pretty sure it's actually the town of Luncarty that's split by the boundary line, and it's only the fact that the ground is on the North side makes them a Highland League area team. 56.4518N Luncarty's ground 56.4513N HL/LL boundary 56.4484N Luncarty town pin on Google maps.
  13. You're not the only to have said since the announcement of Kinnoull joining the EoS. It's just strange timing how this 19 point deduction and £1,100 hasn't been mentioned until now with the leagues wrapped up for a while. What exactly is the offence meant to have been?
  14. That would be my thinking. Just wary of some random rule that would prevent that from happening.
  15. It was asked in another thread, do Kinoull get to replace Eyemouth in this draw? Doubt it's something that's come up before.
  16. Since your exerting your influence north than usual. Can you try further west? Even a couple lanarkshire clubs would do to get the ball rolling in a west of Scotland league.
  17. They replace them in conference A, I've seen that confirmed. I would hope they replace them in the challenge cup but as that's a joint league competition that may not be confirmed as yet.
  18. Is it only okay with the EoS to change the EoS application process? Yes.
  19. Syngenta are meant to have applied for the East Juniors. Along with a Dunblane team playing out of Sauchie and the basically guaranteed Linlithgow Rose & Bo'ness United junior editions. Technically more could apply for the juniors up until they've had their AGM.
  20. Maybe if I say "Breadalbane will have to join the Highland League if they want to get a license" will bring up the poster that has knowledge on what they might be doing.
  21. Breadalbane is something I've really only seen here and early you would of thought they would be included in the proposed regional split graphic. But that only included 2 unnamed south teams.
