  1. Move into the pyramid, where there isn't a way for them to right now. So is that the West Region under SJFA? West Region turned independent WoSFL? A splinter WoSFL with some clubs remaining in the SJFA West Region? Lowland League 2 across the entire Lowland catchement area or a Lowland League 2 West across just half the Lowland catchment area? Seems pretty half baked to me.
  2. Yeah but we're discussing the claim that moving into pyramid will lose them money. It has the potential to do so in the short term. That's why Talbot want to move with the West Region intact. Talking about Scottish Cup prize money, great. Only nobody should budget for a cup run. SFA dividend money or whatever the payment share is called, nice. Some would see it like dole money. You can look at Bonnyrigg having got into the LL. Just put the prices up, by a £1 admittedly. They'll be travelling a wider area and in front of smaller crowds. While players having been promoted might also want a pay bump with improved status. Auchinleck being from a smaller town and geographically a little more isolated in comparison, you can see why they don't want to rush into some half baked idea.
  3. So you lose even more money as you receive less bus payment, less of a share of gate money (smaller crowds) and no prizemoney. I'd consider it an investment when you look at the trophy cabinet.
  4. Newburgh will be playing in the South Premier League next season. So the North will have 18 teams and the South 20 teams then?
  5. LTHV were not a late addition. They were just given the official presentation in August. It was known they were licensed in advance of the 2018 EoS AGM which is why they were not included in the Alex Jack Cup draw for 2018-19.
  6. It was already updated to include Bonnyrigg, Dundonald and Jeanfield when they had their licenses announced. Dunipace haven't even begun the application process for licensing yet. This is it for 2019-20.
  7. There is no new rulebook because as you know nothing has changed because the PWG couldn't come to arrangement. EDIT: This was as far as any new rulebook on the LL Pyramid play-off got
  8. You point out it's an apparent new rule and it's more to do with the LL pyramid play-off than Scottish Cup entry. And there is reason why it would potentially be different for the East Region over the EoS. I don't know if you've noticed but most new rules in Scottish Football are created in reaction to something happening.
  9. I did say split in some regards, I knew the majority at the time voted to leave without even knowing where they would go. Which shows the strength of the sentiment. But 20-25% is a decent chunk of people. Hopefully the AGM can lead to something like Clydebank's original vote set the ball rolling on a lot of the pyramid changes we've seen.
  10. Just for those that suffer from 'hard of thinking' I was referring to the possibility of lower league clubs getting together to bring about changes that would not meet favour with SPFL clubs. Which cannot now happen due to the voting restrictions to be imposed on any future licences. Using an example that wouldn't apply as the SFA can't dictate the promotion and relegation policies of the SPFL. And what route do you think that will be? The Clydebank vote was split in some regards between Junior/Senior last time. Senior won out without a real idea of what that would mean. I don't have the inside track on what the majority will think or do.
  11. Selkirk "died". Eyemouth United have essentially gone into a year's abeyance with hopes to return in 2020-21. They've all been discussed at the time. Nobody's blinkered with a utopian vision. It's football and these things happen at every level.
  12. It's going to be a discussion point at the Clydebank AGM on the 25th July. Since they've already had a previous vote to move into the pyramid, they may well reiterate that point.
  13. The SFA can't dictate the promotion and relegation policies of the SPFL. So your forcing automatic relegation of the SPFL is straight out of cloud cuckoo land.
  14. i'm not sure if this is serious or not?
  15. I reckon the overall 2019-20 East Region champion will get in. The Scottish Cup is going to need re-formatted somewhat for 2020-21 though. Who knows what effect that could have on things. There was already a past proposal to remove the Junior entries. It could be raised again. Maybe just have the Junior Cup winner enter alone.
  16. I doubt they would do it if they felt it compromised the place in the Cup. However, the SFA were supposedly not happy with the EoS 3x Conference system this year. It's something that might slip under the SFA radar so that the 2019-20 overall champion gets in, but then have to be looked at afterwards.
  17. Since the SJFA seems to be more of the same. The PWG probably won't start up again until September. The best indicator of things will be Clydebank's AGM on 25th July. At least there you know questions are going to be asked.
  18. Not neccessarily. These are the clubs from the existing Juniors that would be in the South Premier next year Negative goal difference for everyone and more losses that wins. There's also the possibility that Newburgh will be moved North. Linlithgow Thistle were in a higher division than Linlithgow Rose CFC. So should be better than them at the very least. Not sure how Sauchie CFC and Syngenta are going to compare. It's not exactly a division full of heavy hitters.
  19. The average league attendances for those reserves in the EoS and SoS last season were; 63 Stranraer Reserves, 56 Stirling Uni EoS and 51 Annan Reserves
  20. Not sure if that will be the final team arrangement, but it's the final format.
  21. The balancing act is something that can be done if it's LL2 West and LL2 East. They still stay within the same structure and cups that the Lowland League would have. It's not really something that independent WoSFL and EoSFL can do though. Instead it'd be better for the EoSFL to run with any surplus and balance with extra relegation the following season.
  22. I still wouldn't have touched Syngenta as there's the good chance of them trying to leave in a year.
  23. Probably wrapped up in the discussion on the changing disclipinary rules. "We're making these change because we're in Tier 6 2020-21!"
  24. If I remember it right. Linlithgow Rose Juniors are using the old ground that Bo'ness United Juniors used as an amateur in Linlithgow. I guess the two could groundshare until Newtown Park is ready. Where have Syngenta ended up playing?
