  1. If he is going to let his personal differences get in the way of putting the best team on the park then he needs to go first it was lenny yeah he had a few howlers and needed dropped for a couple of games but to transfer list him was abit far. But not play a guy who has scored 30 goals and 5 hattricks and only give him 3 mins in a game that's 0 0 against a team challenging us for the title is an absolute joke of a decision

He has spent most of his career in the E.O.S. or Lowland leagues so our level wouldn't be an issue - maybe traveling would though.

I can't see it happening as Lenny doesn't appear to be willing to leave and being contracted to June 25 I'm not surprised (unless we pay him off)

Ah ok yeah never thought about the traveling issue wasn't sure where he was from. Yeah cant see lenny leaving just think that's one area we need to strengthen. Nothing against jamie he has done well since he came in but he just has a lack of experience

That's as far as I understand anyway, but I have been wrong once before.....

Pretty sure that's why Fort William had to forfeit the playoff against Banks O' Dee

Ahh ok you could be right then

The boy that scored a few weeks ago?

We have enough strikers to be fair.......

Also, if he signed now, he wouldn't be able to play in the playoffs if we got there

Yeah thats him. Haha would defanlty be playing him in goal not as a striker he's a decent keeper which is what we're needing just now.

Ah wasn't aware of that could be a stumbling point then

Price making clear he doesn’t like Grady in his pre match comments.Talking about resting players and bringing in Wright no mention of Grady. What a shit way to treat our leading goalscorer and highland league player of the year.

Price is no manager, doesn’t know how to treat the players properly.

Whether he likes him or not that shouldn't come into it his job is to put the best team out to win games and that means playing your best players if you like them or not

Buckie winning tonight sees them in the driving seat for the league.

so looks like another season at least in the Highland League which is scary as the money runs out of we don’t achieve promotion,so could lose lots of players.

Unbeaten in the league when Price took over so questions need to be asked.

Price got money to spend on players which really haven’t enhanced the squad

Why is there unrest within the squad(not helping morale)Wilson an experienced keeper and McGrath leading goalscorer benched.Perhaps the board or manager would like to come out and explain what’s going on,this closed door policy is just like the last board who almost ruined the club.

Noticed against the better teams we struggle with their strength, pace and fitness which is a great worry,is the training routine the right one.The players need to stop arguing with the officials when decisions don’t go their way and knuckle down and get back to winning.

I hate to say it but I actually agree with you. We have a squad of good players but price isn't getting the best out of them. The players don't seem to be as happy as they were under kirk. I know I keep saying it but leaving a goal scorer on the bench is just unacceptable

Pretty worrying stats and with away games coming up against Buckie, the Broch , Brora, and a home tie with BOD, I'm not confident that Price will get the results required to win the league. His interview after the game certainly didn't inspire confidence.

I get the same feeling. I'm still bafled why the top goal scorer in the league can't get in the starting line up even when he was coming on on Saturday he seemed reluctant to bring him on. I am starting to fear the worst

There were one or two when I saw them earlier.  It’s the guy from the P and J asking the questions and it’s basically just getting his thoughts on the game.  Without asking the question about a guy who has over 60 goals in under two seasons sitting on the bench.

Seems it has been deleted from Facebook now 🤔

  9. 3 games lost under price. And quite a few unconvincing performances not convinced he is the right man to take us up. Said it before the few games simmy was in charge we looked much better. Going to be very hard to win the league now nevermind win the playoffs if we don't go up I dread to think what will happen after throwing money at bringing all those players in

I agree that Mudie was pretty decent however Craig Tosh will do well I'm sure. We are certainly throwing everything we have in our SPFL quest. Must have the biggest squad now for many years with real options on the bench

Liking how good our team is looking with plenty of options now. Tosh sounds like a good signing him on one wing and Marc Scott on the other sounds like a great prospect. Just hope all this money we are throwing at it dosnt put us in a worse position than we already are

There is some worrying news from the P&J concerning the SPFL 's requirement for HL/LL clubs to hold a "bronze license" before being considered for promotion. Currently, we are at "entry-level" along with every other HL club. We did have a bronze license in the SPFL but didn't retain it when we dropped out. The big issue for us is having a Club Doctor attending all home games. East Kilbride is also at entry level. Interestingly, 5 current SPFL clubs are only at entry level too. Not sure how this is going to play out as I can't see the SPFL turfing out these member clubs which include Edinburgh City and Peterhead.

What a joke that is as if it they don't make it hard enough for clubs to get back into the spfl. I'm assuming it will take some time to get this licence ? So even if we try to get it we might not have it by the end of the season ? If lowland and highland teams can't get in without it surely the teams already there can't be in it either then ?

  12. I know we're winning 2 0 but at the risk of sounding like city die hard. What the f**k is price playing at leaving Grady on the bench ?? We have gone from winning games comfortably to just scrapping wins yes we are dominating most of the games but we're not scoring much yet there's a striker that bangs the goals in rotting on the bench its going to come back and bite us eventually

So I said ages ago that he was away. I was told he had agreed a deal with a club we’ve played twice this season already, closer to where he lives.

Sounds like they weren’t willing to pay a fee to actually get him though. Apologies for the false hope 😂

Like you said it could have fallen through either way can't see him playing for us again unless the other  2 keepers get injured

  14. 1 hour ago, Kev8122 said:

He is contracted until June 25 therefore I believe it's probably down to money. He was on the bench as Kyle Thomson was injured.

Thought that might be the issue can't see many clubs wanting to stump up a fee for him

Luke Strachan signed on loan from Cove today. With a couple of seasons playing in the SPFL behind him (with Forfar & Alloa), he'll be a stronger player than the short spell he had with us in 2020.

With so many games to catch up on it makes sense to have a big squad. Gavin Price is certainly being backed by the Board in bringing in new players - hope they all work out

Brought in a few decent looking players the squad is definitely looking alot stronger
