I had heard this last night as well. Sad news. Given that Lidl are no longer building on the old park it appears Rosyth have been royally shafted.

The draw for the first round is taking place on Black Diamond FM at around 7.15 tomorrow evening. 27 ties and 5 byes

Totally agree about Dunipace. They have just come through a brutal run of games with 10 points out of 12 so with only Newtongrange left to play out of their rivals they have to be odds on for promotion. The big games keep on coming. Whitburn v Camelon next Saturday then Newtongrange v Camelon the following week.

The game has now been switched to St Andrews and will be played next Tuesday evening(30th). The winners will then face Ashfield on the 3rd.

Quarters weren’t played until April last season. Won’t be any rush.

Excellent win for St Andrews in an entertaining game at Preston. The hosts played some excellent football in the first half as did Saints but the away side took over in the second half. That’s us back in the promotion places and still with games in hand on three of our main rivals.

It’s Saints rather than Newtongrange on 27th Jan. Throw in Blackburn away and that is some four game stretch coming up. Ten points out of twelve and the Pace are sitting pretty. Less than six and you’ll be playing catch up.

You could well be right but their next three games are home ties they will be favourites for followed by Vale of Leithen and Oakley away. I wouldn’t rule them out.

There are five teams pulling away from the pack. Newtongrange are building up a head of steam but they have played three or four games more than the other contenders. I thought Dunipace might have slipped up at Rosyth but three goals in the first five minutes out paid to that. Potentially tricky games for Camelon, Whitburn and Dunipace next week. Be nice if we could get a full card next weekend.

St Andrews 4 Rosyth 1 Not as comfortable as the score line suggests. Saints went two up in the first half hour and could have extended their lead but Rosyth pulled one back and the game could have went either way until Saints scored and Rosyth had two players sent off for dissent with fifteen minutes to go. Should be a close game at home to Blackburn on Saturday with a quarter final place up for grabs.

Was the game stopped in injury time? why was it abandoned. Were they waiting on an ambulance? Could they not get the player off the pitch?

Well done to Jeanfield and Dunbar. I did tell an East Fife supporter I know that they were in for a tough tie. Immensely frustrated tonight. Albion are not a good side, with a bit more self belief we could have won. Can’t wait to watch the highlights to see if our late “equaliser” was offside.
