Thistle now have Holt, Brownie and Murray...... you'd almost think McCall was a fan ...
Dobbie's going to join them too, don't we just know it ...
Thistle in talks with Dobbie think if he joins any team in Scotland it will be them.
Dobbie has huge respect for McCall.

More than good enough for Championship football. Bit like bambi on ice at times, however.
Good signing for Thistle will not find a better left back had hoped he would be back at Queens but not this time

Kevin Holt has signed for Patrick Thistle 2 year deal...
Thought he would have returned to Queens but no .
Really good left back excellent signing for Thistle
Hope that is the only ex Queens player Thistle sign .

A thread we can put the names of released players this summer.
Queens never say who is released our best hope is for you to tell us .

The majority of clubs release a list of who is leaving and who had been offered a new contract .Queens seem to keep all that a secret.
We find out on players social media what they are doing rather than from the club .

This tie is still very much on a knife edge.
As piss poor as we were in the first half I thought we just about deserved the win in the end.
Still all to play for on Tuesday.Queens lost 2-1 at Montrose then best them 5-0 at Palmerston all is not lost for Morton as you say all to play for on Tuesday

This Friday is Dobbie’s last game then. Bowing out in an empty stadium really is heartbreaking.
LEGEND of a man
We can't just let him walk away from Palmerston without a send off .
Very difficult to do anything with covid but to let a Legend of a man just walk away just seems wrong to me .
Queens will never get another player like him I feel lucky that I have seen play .

Queens nothing to play for have been going through the motions for a few weeks now just glad we need nothing from the game .
All points to a Dundee win for me who would have thought Queens would be safe now after the easy Boxing day defeat from Dundee

A point ay Ayr and we are safe.
If we lose both our games we'll still be safe if any of the following happen.
-Arbroath lose at Dunfermline (we'd be safe even if Morton beat Alloa). This scenario would leave Morton on 30 points and Arbroath on 29. They play each other in the last match so we would definitely finish above one of them.
-Morton lose to Alloa.
-Ayr lose at ICT.
-Arbroath don't win at Dunfermline and Morton don't beat Alloa.
-Morton draw at home to Alloa and don't win at Arbroath.
There may be other possible combinations.
Ayr beat Queens get a draw at Inverness .
Morton beat Alloa
Arbroath draw at Dunfermline .
Arbroath then play out a draw with Morton ..
Queens lose to Dundee then with our poor goal difference we finish 9th ..all seems very probable to me .

Queen of the South win, Connor Shields at anytime. Just need to watch the Arbroath highlights to see how bad we've become.
With his pace we're absolutely in danger of a hiding here.Muirhead will have Ayr right up for this with it being Queens .
Teams now fall back no room for the likes of Sheilds to run iinto our threat with pace has now gone hence the reason we are now struggling to score goals we don't have a plan B .
Ayr will win the physical battle and we will always concede goals with our weak defence everything pointing towards a Ayr win

My thinking after yesterday, is that we all wanted to survive this season and a result on Saturday would guarantee that and hopefully a respectable mid table finish. Next year I’d hope to progress again if we can keep a good few of the current squad.Ayr will come out all guns blazing next week Muirhead will get them up for playing Queens .
We are going through the motions not up for a fight I just can't see us get another point this season .
My worry is our awful good difference I can see all the teams finish on 31 points end up us in the playoffs then we lose to Partick that is the nightmare I am having just now

you're four clear and Ayr's last game is in Inverness, where they haven't won in _nineteen years_. You're safe. Go and have a w**k or something.
No way are Queens safe Ayr don't need to win in Inverness a draw would be enough after they beat us next week .
Arbroath will definitely ge at least 2 points from the last 2 games probable more .
Morton will get at least 2 draws and beat Alloa .
All this means with Queens poor goal difference we will finish 9th
The thing I am sure if is Queens are done for the season will not pick up another point going through the motions

Ayr will surely come out flying give everything after the Arbroath game .
We need to wake up and realise we are heading for 9th players are going through the motions .
We will always concede goals but now we are struggling to score .

If we'd scored just before half-time it would be completely undeserved. Gibson is the only player who looks like he is giving a shit and Mebude is having a total mare.
It is a just like the Raith game going through the motions looks like some players can't wait to get away .
We are struggling to score goals teams realise now how to play against us.
AJ does not have a plan B might get a sub before 80 mins today surely Dobbie has to be on early in the 2nd half

I doubt if you'll find many Queens fans claiming it's a good surface, I doubt if it even gives us much if an advantage, if any, playing on it. It just doesn't look right for a start. Tbh, I sometimes find it difficult seeing the ball on our surface when I watch streams. I do think there's an agenda against artificial surfaces, I recall Joe Thomson at Dunfermline picking up a series injury at EEP, if that had happened on an artificial surface I'm sure that fact would have been highlighted but it happened on grass so the surface wasn't mentiined even, though it maybe contributed to his injury.
Best pitch I have seen is the Raith pitch after that Falkirk .
The Killie pitch does not look much better than ours

Alan Johnston saying it was one of our best performances against Raith says it sets us up for the run in
What game was he watching a real worry that AJ thinks that it must be why he never used any subs till the 80th min .

Must go with a more attack minded team to win Tuesday nights game a change in the formation with 2 up top.
I can see now why the club has not offered AJ a new contract .
You just can't play 80 mins when 1nil down and then decide to put a sub on .
It as if he has a plan A and can't change it .
A decent manager would have changed it at half time or even after 60 mins but 80 mins why wait as long as that

Our season is now drifting away players going through the motions I only hope we have enough points to stay up .
Dunfermline will be right up for it expect a home win .

That's a disaster of a line up. Enforced, but a disaster nonetheless.
There are no good options up front with Vaughan and Gullan out so looks like Ugwu's number came out the bingo caller first.
Home win.
Looks like Ugwu will be enough no need for Vaughan and Gullan .
Queens playing like it is a pre season friendly very poor going through the motions only player trying to make something happen is Gibson .
AJ must use his subs now try and change the game get Jones and Pybus on get a bit of energy about us

This is a game we have to win after today I just can't see it .
Raith have been excellent recently another very difficult game .
Raith will show us what it is like to pass a ball and keep it l not just hit long high balls all the time and hope for the best .
0 -
To score a really good goal then switch off straight after and lose a poor goal is frustrating .
When we played it on the ground we looked decent but far too many high balls to nobody why can't we pass it through midfield draw was about right for the game

The 2 defeats to Alloa have really set us back. Even just 4 points from them 2 games would have seen us in a nice position.
You can't really look at it like that we got 4 points from Hearts that we did not expect .
Our run in is very difficult just staying in the Championship would do me.
I wish we could build on this season really go for the playoffs next season but our manager and all our squad are out of contract the likes of Ayo and Sheilds will be away and can Dobbie go another season

Dapo appeal is 20th April looks like he will only miss 2 games for us unless Rangers somehow convince the S.F.A. that any ban will affect Nathan Patterson career .

As always a very difficult game Inverness are now on top form very impressive against County in the Cup .
We have to lift ourselves after our Cup defeat hopefully we will only be missing Dapo should have Pybus back.

Queens problem is our budget nothing to do with A.J. very difficult job trying to get players to sign when they can make more elsewhere
