  1. I like his name therefore he must be good,Mitch Megginson just sounds impressive. Trying saying it in a Jim Spence voice and it sounds even better!
  2. Daily Record says we are looking at ex Ross County and St Mirren winger Mark Corcoran. Never seen him play, seems to have spent most of his career at SPL/Div1.
  3. Well said!. I really hope we don't resign Ronald, never did enough to impress me and doesn't look a D1 class player.
  4. On the stats front last season. Jaz kept 4 league clean sheets (including first half v Thistle). Shay kept 1 (second half v Thistle). Both have strengths and weaknesses,Jamie is more agile but his decison making is poor. Stevie is an excellent shot stopper but as mentioned is let down by his inability to cope with crosses. I'm confident though with the signings of Smith,McGinn and holding onto CT and Graham then whoever goes in goals will concede less than last season.
  5. Optimistic has to be the most pessimistic fan on here!
  6. Yup we're spending money on players we can't afford,I mean Linton must be have been offered at least a few grand a week to want to leave the mighty blue Brazil.
  7. There's always a 'Pharmacy' when Gary O'Connors about
  8. I saw Gary O'Connor at the Pharmacy in Morrison's earlier.........
  9. Nah someone surely must've hacked into the twitter. Portuguese international signing for East Five, heard it all now! Edit: Nade :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
  10. Have to agree with what's been said on here,McNiff is not a first division player. If Lithgow goes elsewhere I'm pretty confident we could get a replacement who would be better than McNiff.
  11. I'd like to see us sign Hardie,an experienced head in midfield is always useful and it would stop him scoring against us! Which he managed 3 times last season. He would probably only be back up to Aggy and CT but I can't think of many better back up free agent centre MIDs.
  12. Tell me that's a wind up,he's scored 2 goals in the last 2 seasons Severely overweight is also an understatement!
  13. Yaaas finally something to talk about! Hopefully its McGinn.
  14. Great news, its been too long since we last had Maryhills finest in town. Cannot Wait! *sigh* its been a long boring few weeks
  15. In fairness we do only have 11 signed players,I wouldn't panic just yet!
  16. This website should have all the info you need. Looks like a public park tbh!http://nonleaguescotland.org.uk/civil.htm
  17. We have no chance of getting Graham,Weatherson has a decent goal record at this level (especially against us) but has never really impressed me. I think we'd be better going for Craig Malcolm from Stranraer. Younger ,hungrier and with a very decent goal record for a struggling second division team, plus he knocked back a deal from Morton to stay part time so would be a perfect fit.
  18. Great news about Scott Smith, genuinely surprised he didn't get an offer from a full time D1 team though.
  19. *INSERT NAME OF FORMER HIBS TEAMATE NOW WITHOUT A CLUB* is set to join within the next 7 minutes.
  20. Paddy Boyles also a free agent, might be quite a good fit for a Scott Smith shaped hole in our defence . Don't know if he'd want to drop back to part time though.
  21. I see that Andy Kirk is a free agent,he would be a decent replacement for Jimmy imo. His goal record at div one level is fairly consistent as well, 1 every 2.8 games for Dunfermline is a pretty excellent return.
  22. I'm not signing up to that pish to read the full story. Can some w****r cut and paste please? The Sons striker revealed that he and his partner are expecting a baby and that with this in mind he felt he had to move on. The 32-year-old explained: "I have been discussing my future with my family and trying to work out what is best to do. "It was a hard decision to make but a few things came into it and I feel it is the right decision for myself and my family. "We are having a wee girl shortly and there were a few other things that came into it but that is the main reason behind the move. "Airdrie is a lot closer to home for me as I stay in Falkirk so it is only 10, 15 minutes along the road." However, the fans' favourite was keen to thank the Sons supporters for the backing he has received throughout the campaign which he believes has improved him as a player, he continued: "I would like to thank the fans very much for their support all the way through the season, right up until the end of the season, they made me the player I was this season. "I would really like to thank everybody at Dumbarton, I couldn't say that enough. "I wish Dumbarton all the best, the club was like a second home to me and I couldn't thank Dumbarton enough for what they have done this season."
