  1. You upset mate? Definitely did in spells… Dundee looked like a championship team. It’s no suprise given two of your key players we were happy to let go.
  2. Thought first half we were quite sloppy, but Dundee still couldn’t have complained if we went in 3 or 4 nil up. Brilliant watching Trevor and Joe make an arse of themselves with the penalty. Second half thought we started well, but as soon as Dundee scored we looked nervy, but at the same time I still thought we looked more likely to score again. We lost/drew a few games last season due to last minute goals in similar situations, so hopefully it’s a sign of improvement. 2/2, can’t complain. Dundee look shit.
  3. Fully deserve the lead here, but equally I think we have been quite sloppy at times, but Dundee look really poor. Glorious watching Trevor give Joe some instructions for the penalty taker, only for it to be saved. Hope we step up a gear in the second half and totally destroy them. Goal difference makes all the difference at the top of the table.
  4. He’s on a yellow, and prone to fouls against him when jumping for the ball.
  5. Can’t complain so far, Hibs have been far the better team. I’d want a penalty for that if it was me. The depressing thing is that the officials have both failed to spot two major decisions, the offside goal and the penalty and are just relying on VAR.
  6. A draw would have been a fair result overall, but to go down to ten men and lose an equaliser with four minutes to go, and then take the lead again in the 90th minute, shows what a squad Robbo has put together. He got pelters (from me included) for our poor end to the season last year. But he’s proved me and a lot of St Mirren supporters wrong with the squad he’s built. 3rd, 4 points off 2nd and off to Ibrox next week with nothing to fear. If we can deal with Celtic, we have every chance of earning a result next week.
  7. Sitting in a bar in Portugal, Mrs has taken the 4 brats to the beach, and winning 2-0… beautiful Sunday right enough.
  8. I wouldn't hold out much hope on being matched... they can't cope with the volumes. We met ours via a charity website. Initially was meant to be Mum and Son, but Dad got injured and was allowed to leave, so Mum and Son came on Homes for Ukraine Visa and Dad on the Scotland Sponsor, but we didn't want them to be separated so invited them all, provided they were happy with the squeeze. There's 200 stuck in a hotel 10 minutes from me. If you need any help/advice, just drop me a pm.
  9. We have sponsored a Ukrainian family and they joined us last week. It's a bit of a crowded house as we already had six of us living at mine and now a further three. They are very nice, Mum is always cleaning up and Dad is walking about with his toolbox fixing everything. If anyone is considering doing it, I highly recommend. If there's a photo that makes you a proud Dad it's this one.
  10. I have a Mitsibushi Outland 69 reg - automatic transmission. I know nothing about cars, and only passed my test in December... We went for this as we needed the 7 seats with 4 weans and a dug, and had 360 camera, which was really appealing for a new driver with not used to driving such a big car. The past few times I have been out, it feels like it's going to stall sometimes when I stop at the lights etc. I've noticed that the Rev display shoots down from 1 to 0 when this happens. It only does this sometimes. The car goes fine again when I accelerate. The Mrs thinks it's an eco thing, I think otherwise as why doesn't it do it everytime the car is idle. Am I going to look like a right tosser or do I have a valid concern here...
  11. My other half has just signed us up offering to Sponsor a woman and child from Ukraine who would like to come to the UK. As if 4 weans and a dug wasn't enough... I doubt anything will come of it, given the blockers the UK seem determined to put in place, but on the off chance, at least there is an option there for someone. She is originally from Poland and her hometown is near the border to Ukraine, so is keen to do something.
  12. I'm pretty sure it was, and he scored them all by January.
  13. Someone should tell Main it's not walking football at the dome.
  14. Lol, to be fair, I could understand why he was so pissed off, but his reaction was ott and I told him as such. After a while my brother in law and I just started laughing at him and that seemed to wind him the old fart up even more. My reaction would have been significantly different had the kids been in the car with me.
  15. The Mrs is Polish... no chance I'll be allowed to purchase a German car...
  16. Love the car, but with a double pram and four kids... I don't love the petrol it burns...
  17. I am now a c'nt on the road. Passed my test in December. First car is a 69 plate, 7 seater Mitsibushi Outlander. (Needed 7 seater due to 4 weans). It's definitely true what they say, you learn to drive after you pass your test. You get taught how to pass your test, not how to drive. I have the P plates on, not sure if they are more of a target or not, but I like giving people warning that a f'k up might be imminent. I am definitely on the c'nt list in my first month or so of driving... First major error was going to the Mrs' sisters. Roundabout in Linwood, in the left lane going straight on, 2nd exit, but actually left lane was for 1st exit only. First time on that road, and my lessons were always left lane for going straight on. I realised what I had done as soon as I had passed, but was too late to do anything about it. Old guy behind me was so enraged he drove right up my arse and followed me to a car park to have a go at me. I had to calm him down before he gave himself a heartattack. Though, don't understand how he could lecture me on my driving when he would have hit my rear if I slammed on the breaks whilst he was driving up my rear following me. But, lesson learned and if going anywhere I don't know, use Google Street View to try and make sure I understand the approach/lanes. Went a drive to Ayr at the weekend. Following SatNav can be a bit challenging for ne as I'm deaf. Was going 80 on the outside lane overtaking traffic on left, but going 10mph above limit, wasn't fast enough for the guy behind me who told me to get on the left lane. Again, another lesson learned, if you can move to the left, do it and something I wasn't aware about as you don't get taught this during your lessons! Apart from those incidents I don't think I'm doing too badly. There is a small stretch of road near me, its a back road, 60 limit, but there are so many bends, on a hill and you can't see the oncoming traffic at some of them, so I probably one of the 40mph c'nts there. But it's a short distance so probably doesn't bother too many. It was the same on the A791 to Ayr, lots of bends, wide car, narrow roads. The speedlimit was 40 there due to works, and I was doing 40 but could tell the cars behind me would have been doing a lot more if they could get past me. The few incidents have knocked my confidence a bit, but just need to get as many miles under my belt and as much experience on different roads as I can. Finding this thread really helpful but in what not to do!
  18. I’ve just finished self isolating after testing positive. Was ill for about 10 days, just felt like a really bad flu. Took the test on the off chance due to how long it was lasting. I suspect I got it via the weans most likely as there were positive cases at their school, and had hardly been out the two weeks prior to symptoms. I was really disappointed with T&T, I got my results back on the Wednesday and it took until the Saturday for them to contact me for close contacts. They didn’t contact close contacts for another 2-3 days after, of which one of them finished their self isolation period on the same day!
  19. My girlfriend went in to get induced this evening. I’m not allowed in until she’s in active labour, waiting game now, no chance I’ll sleep tonight.
  20. I’m in Renfrew, I get the 7.25am express bus and I’m at my work In my desk across from charing cross for 7.50am. My rent for a 2 bedroom, 2004 build is £595, council tax £86 a month after the wife moved out.
  21. The seethe from the Rangers fans for parking the bus on Twitter is glorious.
  22. Can anyone recommend a good IPTV for an android box, and how to get in touch. The one I used last season no longer works, and guy appears to have disappeared from FB. Gutted as had about 18 Scottish team’s own TV, even the likes of Raith Rovers TV etc!
  23. Would have taken a draw before the game. But f’k me that was awful to watch. 🤮
  24. Does anyone else dislike the training/tactical changes this year?
