Heading to London for a long weekend tomorrow for the 1st time in a few years, and I've just clocked the price of the Tube. £12.10 for a day ticket?! But £7.60 with an Oyster Card. Question is: can i get a Oyster card at a main station or tube station that will save me a few pound while I'm there for 3 days? The Transport for London website doesn't make it particularly clear.

They sell match packages for each game. They vary in price depending on opponent. About 60 to 100 if memory For that you get ticket, Scarf, hat and programme. Think when you are there it would be hard to get tickets. For Feyenoord and Vitesse Arnham you can buy online and email club respectively.

Just got my ticket for Real Betis V Valencia (30) on Sunday 7th February. Also just noticed Sevilla have been drawn at home in the 1st leg of the Copa Del Rey Semi final to Celtic Vigo. Game will be played 3rd or 4th February (arrive 3rd). So just waiting on tickets going on sale for that one. Would be nice to see games at both grounds in Seville while I'm there. EDIT. Just got ticket for Sevilla V Celtic Vigo. Game is on the Thursday evening. 25. Chuffed to bits!

Off to Holland in January. Got tickets for Ajax v Groningen (16th), Vitesse Arnhem v PSV Enidhoven (17th) and Feyenoord v FC Twente (18th) G of last seasons top 7. Ajax Ticket was the package at a steep €66, Feyenoord was a reasonable €25 and Vitesse was €35.

My Short term memory is absolutely shocking! I can go into a room with the intention of doing/ getting something and when I get there... mind goes blank, gone for ever. But my long term memory is outstanding. I can remember dacts and the most useless of information for years. It has got so bad I have a note book and write stuff down all the time. Never had any issues with Frankie and Benny's so will vote that as best Don't classify Weatherspoons as a restaurant, But it serves the worst food I have ever had when eaten out. So refuse to eat there now. Fast food places like Mcdonalds, KFC, Burger king etc are fine. you know what you are getting

We went with Booking.com. Our original choice was a bed and breakfast (someones home) with great reviews for £70, but it was double booked. They found us a hotel slightly closer to centre for £90, but we do get a refund on that £20 though. Looking at Premier inn, Travelodge etc is day light robbery.
