  1. I liked that MacDonald showed a bit of quality in hitting crosses from deeper positions as well as being able to hit the byline. He isn’t rapid, but is powerful and that helps to get by the fullbacks. I’d say his inconsistency with crossing is overstated tbh.
  2. https://twitter.com/officialdafc/status/1662383487083589632?s=46&t=qCdbt9-aDBhCErH3UotPEw Cracking video and lovely version of In a Big Country.
  3. 3 years is remarkable. Going to be extremely bittersweet when Bayern Munich pinch him for £3million this time next year. In all seriousness though, he’ll probably be sold for at least 5x that.
  4. KRH was great this season but he needs to prove himself at a higher level before we can say he’s Premiership quality or not.
  5. The sound when Todd’s goal goes in gets me seriously erect.
  6. Big ‘non league team at the end of a cup run’ vibes from this Ayr performance.
  7. Was it Mehmet that Grant (maybe Hughes) threw under the bus in a post match interview?
  8. IIRC we sold around 400 more season tickets for 2022/23 than we did the previous season. You’ve got to think we’ll shift another 3-400 on top of that. What’s been our highest ST sales total since admin?
  9. Maybe I’m remembering it wrong but I thought that happened before McPake had even been appointed, which made it more impressive that Todd didn’t even know a prospective manager was in the building. I didn’t know until recently however that McPake was interviewed at his own home so maybe he had been appointed when he saw Todd at EEP.
  10. Hope Matty Todd enjoyed his pre-season break, the mental b*****d is probably doing laps of EEP already.
  11. Aye apparently ourselves and Ayr are after McCowan, who did indeed score Dundee’s 5th on Friday.
  12. Yep, Raith are famous for steering clear of any controversial signings.
  13. Aye, Club statement confirming he’s also away as well as O’Hara and Todorov whom we already knew about. ‘Dialogue’ (is the corporate speak thread still going?) ongoing with Mehmet and Comrie. Sounds like they’re being offered deals, therefore I’d be surprised if both didn’t end up signing new deals. Both will be announced by this time next week IMO.
  14. Proactive as ever, the Sportscene graphics team noticed that there were two Kellys in Livingston’s starting lineup. To avoid confusion, they labelled them as S. Kelly and S. Kelly.
  15. I think that’s probably just a reference to the home win ratio alone. Obviously the excellent defensive record and 0 losses counteracts the lack of wins, but if you were to tell us that we would ‘only’ win 10 of our 18 home games this season you’d think we would be in for a bit of a shit season. QOTS won 9 of their home games and we’ve had very different seasons. I agree with the rest of your post though. We picked up more points away from home because teams were less likely to sit in deep all game on their own patch. You’d imagine that’ll change next season where just about every game will be far more open.
  16. Mental to think that if it wasn’t for Lewis McCann’s winner last week, we’d have pissed the league by 12 points having only won 50% of our home games.
  17. I understand the sentiment on a long-term basis, but if we’re able to get a better quality ‘keeper on loan as opposed to a permanent deal then I have no issue with it. We’ve even had the likes of Allan McGregor on a loan deal.
