  1. Not exactly the brains of Britain are they. I think people don’t understand how easy it is for bookmakers to discover irregular betting patterns. I worked for a company that worked with bookies, and the machine learning models can detect statistical irregularities automatically. A market like bookings for Dundee is always going to flag when a large amount of money goes on it. It’s probably taken this long as they gather evidence, but I’d imagine it’s pretty solid if they’ve been arrested now. Maybe points to why Gowser has been out of the team recently?
  2. Funnily enough I’m going through the exact opposite of this just now and hitting everything off the heel. Thought I had a massive path issue causing my slice but turns out it was all coming out the heel. I think if you line up the centre in the air, it’ll appear to be even more lined up out the toe no? At least that’s what it’s been like for me. I’m setting up with the ball sitting almost in front of the driver as I look down now, and its (temporarily) fixed it.
  3. That’s exactly what I’m looking for cheers. I do something similar with the makhani sauce from dishoom so happy to spend a couple of hours at the weekend making up a big batch of it. Cheers.
  4. Does anyone have a good recipe for a Korma or similar style curry? Made one at the weekend that was good, but nothing special. The best curry I’ve made at home is the chicken ruby from the Dishoom book, and I’m trying to nail down a korma that gives a similar level of satisfaction (I.e. tastes like I’ve bought it from an Indian)
  5. This had me questioning myself. For years I was sure it was off the post. Glad the video confirms it!
  6. I did. I thought French was poor defensively, did okay going forward at times. Not sure how that changes anything I said.
  7. Cammy was very poor in the first half (admittedly so was the whole team). He took his goal well but I can’t see how anyone would say he was man of the match. Anderson or Robinson for me. Both were excellent when they came on and changed the game. I don’t see what Grayson brings to the team. A midfielder who sits deep but doesn’t break up play, plays the ball backwards and rarely shows for the ball. He does nothing for me, but maybe I’m missing something. He seems like a poorer version of the likes of Byrne. The scenes post Cammy goal/full time felt like today was start of something. Coming back from 2 down to win shows a bit of character and hopefully we can build on it. Could see at the end that it meant a lot to Bowyer, hopefully he learns from today.
  8. Pici is outstanding. I don’t think I’d had it too often before, but on holiday in Tuscany it seemed to be served with everything. Unbelievably good for ragu. How cool is Stanley Tucci? The episode in Piedmont had me looking up flights. The brothers cooking risotto looked unreal.
  9. I agree. Sheridan did well tonight. He was miles ahead of what Rudden had been doing, and actually matched up quite well against a physical queens centre half.
  10. Sheridan with that through ball has contributed more than Rudden all night. Terrifying.
  11. The boy Eze for Queen’s Park at the back is an absolute unit. Doesn’t look like we’ll get much joy punting the ball up towards the strikers.
  12. Cammy makes a bit of an arse of it and we’re 1 down. At least we did better than last time…
  13. I think it was Germany where there’s talk that under soil heating won’t be allowed this winter for teams. I don’t think undersoil heating is a requirement in the championship is it? There’s probably a fair chance we see quite a few postponed games this year.
  14. It’s a pretty hot take to say the club don’t care about out of town fans when they’re asking the opinion of all fans. Given the amount of cash clubs will have to pay out for floodlights during the winter it’s well worth exploring this option.
  15. Yeh I don’t see what Williamson is bringing to our team. Seems to offer very little.
  16. These people should be barred from pubs on a first offence and executed on a second.
  17. An absolute mentalist interviewed on the BBC website who has queued to see the coffin 7 times. Incredible.
  18. We’ve got an Ooni and it takes about an hour or so sitting outside. Generally by the time we’ve finished our pizza, tidied up etc. and had a glass of wine it’s good to move inside. This is me moving it by holding the metal also. Be aware that if you grab it too early it will burn you very quickly, I’ve got a big scar on my leg from touching it for literally a second.
  19. The goal on DeeTV looked very well taken, think its a bit harsh to blame Sharp for that. I think Mulligan has looked bright, driving with the ball and seems to have a bit of pace about him. Hopefully GB has something up his sleeve for the second half.
  20. French tracks Graham there but doesn’t once check where he actually is. Leaves a massive gap and lets Graham get the shot away. Not promising from the defence so far.
