Played in a medal last night. Struggled round the course (as has been my last month and a bit of golf) but spending 3 hours in the sun after work playing golf is so good.

I don’t know how to feel about Murray. It seems like a less bad appointment than Davidson which is something, but doesn’t exactly feel exciting.

Davidson would be an absolutely atrocious appointment and would only be one for Strachan’s mate/a media friend. His record at St Johnstone was terrible, he won 2 cups during the weirdest season with someone else’s team. Theres a reason saints fans have been trying to get him out for over a season (with brief moments of respite). He appears to be a very good coach, but that’s not what we’re looking for.

Still caught up in the celebratory mood I’m sure, but I’m feeling optimistic for our chances next season. Bowyer is pragmatic. Not always going to be the most exciting but appears to know how to make us harder to beat. Hopefully this will do well in the top league. Us having a month more than the teams at the bottom of the premiership to prepare could be huge. Will hopefully allow Bowyer time to make signings that other teams can’t. The scenes last night should also encourage players, seeing how passionate our fans can be. Fingers crossed we can keep Robinson. Him and Jak last night looked like they were loving life. Surely you’d prefer this than some pishy league one team down south. Overall, it’s fucking great to be a Dee.

Ive lost a couple of kgs since I came back from my holiday three weeks ago. Really upped my exercise, agreed to do a triathlon at the end of April so full swing training for that (along with some weights and general things like golfing). Still need to properly tidy my diet up but getting there!

That felt like the assistant absolutely guessed at it, and because the Caley defence made a monumental arse of it Cameron looked offside. Shambles. Can’t see how McMullan was offside either when he was played through, he had to dodge the Caley defender to get the ball!

It’s an interesting one for sure but I think Bowyer has earned the benefit of the doubt. It’s quite fun to be off the merry go round of Scottish football known quantities.

Looked like he got a knock in the back going up for the ball and then pulled up later. Hard to say but it didn’t look terrible. Jakubiak got some amount of abuse today that I think was unwarranted. He did well against a reasonably tough/physical centre half pairing. I thought today was one of his better performances. It’s too early to judge the new boy but that wasn’t exactly promising. He did worse than Jak did. Marshall is dreadful. He kept playing the ball up the line with a load of side spin that took it out of play more often than not. Few folk got on McMullans back when he played a thrown straight back into the stand, but Marshall causes it by launching a throw in at him way too high from 5 yards, amateur stuff. Overall, thought we did okay. There wasn’t much between us and a team that’s allegedly chasing Europe. Bloody freezing though.

That was a bit of a shambles. Took me over 20 mins to get in.
