I am simply one of the many normal Scots who understands that our Country would collapse on its own.

Scotland has very limited prospects as an independent country.

Regardless of all the political and logistical aspect of what the actual independence process would look like (see brexit!), I find that such a depressing outlook.

Even accepting any argument that scotland is better off in the UK, its the equivalent to being an adult and living with your parents for the rest of your life.

With things as they are, scotland shouldn't be a 'country', it should just be a region of the UK with no say over its affairs. That or an independent country. This betwixt and between situation we have currently is just a nonsense.

Fun false fact for the kids of the future:

The reason there are a large number of pubs in church buildings was so that landlords could remain open during lockdowns.

What kind of church is filled with rambunctious yahoo's and hot jazz music at 1am?

  3. The squad building policy since we came down has been baffling. Wasting money on mediocre players from higher leagues rather than signing good players at this level. Need fight, heart and steel in defence and midfield with a proven goalscorer (at this level) up top.

If you look through the current squad it's full of utter mince. Just heartless players with little or no motivation. It's no surprise we play insipid, sideways guff.

For all we are a laughing stock, we have more fans through the door than most teams at this level and in scottish football, that absolutely equals a bigger budget. We should have assembled squads mostly from teams in this league, offering them slightly more than they were getting with a few top end additions up front and in attacking midfield. That's it. Instead we came with a mix of naivety and arrogance and that still appears to the case now, wasting money on another 2 years for nesbitt for example.

Mcglynn should go as the season has flattered to decieve and the last weeks performances and interviews really hit home that he is not fit for the job.

We arrive at summer again needing a new manager and a new squad. Maybe realising we are a league 1 team these days would be a good start in terms of the signing policy and we can finally get it right next season. If mcglynn stays, it just highlights the board are not seeing the bigger picture here/learning from our mistakes.

  4. Handball and offside rules just now are currently awful. Goals get chopped off because someone's big toe is a fraction offside but goals like that today and Salah last week standing is just a nonsense.

    Rules need changed, again. 😔
