Walking Down The Halbeath Road
DAFC. replied to Parscelona's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
Jefferies, effectively, is only here for 1 season. Pretty sure he said he wants to retire soon, i.e. the end of the 2012/13 season, so I can't see us playing shitey lump the ball tactics and hoping that will get us promoted. Once he goes, if we don't automatically go back up, which will probably not happen, then I'd like to see us go in for Hartley or Cameron and hopefully establish us in the first divison, get us into the SPL, and keep us there for good. -
Had a dream I won the European Cup with Aston Villa the other night, and lifted the grand trophy with one hand, making a picture perfect moment. The same day, I drove up to Hampden to witness the Pars beat Hearts to win the League Cup, and was given permission to lift it.

No Country For Old Men (2007) The Coen Brothers are my favourite directors, so I was never going to give this a bad rating anyway However, this film is amazing. I can't do it justice in words. Some of the scenes are so intense, you can't predict what will happen. The character of Anton Sigur (sp?) is one of the best in the Coen Bros. film history. Very, very enjoyable film. I would say this is their second best, their best is The Big Lebowski, without a shadow of doubt. 9/10

Can't say I know the chap, but at least we're making a start with getting more of the youth into our squad and building for the future. With the way we're going about our business, I can't really say I'm confident about automatic promotion, but at least we can build to be better equipped once we do go back in the SPL. -

That section, or the EEE, should start making up their own stuff. Should make more of the funny and ironic chants like the Gary Mason one, instead of copying Motherwell. I'm a teenager myself so trying not sounding like an old fart or something, but they should start making up more of their own stuff to the tune of songs of their choice. I'm all for them, creates a better atmosphere. Players could do with a 12th man. Just watched the Soccer Saturday 'Best of 2011/12' video, and saw the Southampton fans chant to the tune of Don't You Want Me - Human League...'Jose Fonte, baby. Jose Fonte ooooohhhhh' So simple, so brilliant. -

Boyle was non existent when he played. If we received a fee for him, I reckon it'd be more than welcome. -

Didn't Brian pull of some good stops to help Raith get to the league cup final? -

Steven Bell, undoubtedly, is a really talented midfielder. However, if he comes back from this injury next term, how well will he play again? As Rob said, he hasn't played in a game for about a year and a half. I'll be very surprised, permitting he does indeed stay on, if he'll get back to the way he played. These injuries ruin careers. -

Graham will end up at St. Mirren, ICT or Dundee. -

The news of Chris Smith and Alex Keddie being told their contracts will not be renewed for the 2012-13 season marks today one of marvel. Thank you, Jim Jefferies and The Good Lord. -

I hope Buchanan is the only one kept from that list. He is a proven goal scorer at First Divison level. The rest can take a fly f**k. -
Does anyone else think the posters on P+B, in reality, look like their avatar? I was convinced when I went to St. Mirren I'd see Nick Cave cutting about and some guy with shades on and an 80s hair do with a black and white top giving me 'point and laugh' finger gesture.

Hopefully they all get released. In fact, no-one can be so stupid as to give them a new contract. -

To say Graham is SPL standard is ludicrous. -

David Graham has a bad attitude. He can be very lazy and self-centred on the pitch. He doesn't turn up every week. Obviously it is a tad disheartening seeing him leave, but we shouldn't be all that bothered. Plenty of players like him on much lower wages. -

Every time I try and tell folk we've signed a young man named Whittle, I have to spell it to them, in case they think I've developed a lisp. -

35 years of age. Still 100000x better than all our defense combined...okay he might be knocking on, but the man is a legend. I think he could do a job in the first division. -

Burns is about as useful as an inflatable dartboard, that c**t. Can remember some QoS fans nearly greetin' on here at his departure and saying how he should have got a contract to an SPL side before he did -

Andy Barrowman and Burns under contract. Well, to be serious, at least we've got Paul Gallacher in goals, a good goalkeeper in the SPL, never mind 1st Division. Jordan MacMillan looks to be a decent right back, but JJ has a big task ahead of him. Not going to be like I was back in 2007 and expect immediate promotion. At worst I think we'll finish mid-table, but we'll probably finish 2nd or 3rd. Dundee to be promoted.
