more radical !! No we need to go retro.... with the assistant referee immediately raising the flag when they think a player is offside. Works fine down the leagues.
The true fan experience:-
1) Ball hits the net
2) Fan looks at assistant
3A) No flag- celebrate goal.
or
3B) Flag- shout abuse at official for his poor eyesight, inability to keep up with the play and lack of sporting integrity.
VAR is a killjoy and is spoiling the game.

.........so in short "gamekeeper" Gemmell still indulges in a fair bit of poaching.

Stat attack.........
League - Home games:- 11 wins, 2 draws and 4 defeats
League- Away games:- 10 wins, 2 draws and 5 defeats.
League Head to Head:-
6 points from:- Gala, Berwick, Gretna, Edinburgh Uni, Caley Braves, Cowdenbeath and East Stirlingshire.
4 points from Broomhill and the wee Rose
3 points from Tranent, Celtic B, Strollers, Stirling Uni and East Kilbride
1 point from Hearts B and Albion Rovers
0 points from Cumbernauld Colts.
In the Cups we had defeats from Stirling University, East Kilbride, Morton and Cumbernauld United.
Only the defeat from the last of those 4 teams was unexpected but fair play they were very good on the day and deserved the victory.
I really enjoyed the season with its highs and lows. You can see the togetherness in the squad and that combined with hard work is what grinds out results on difficult days. A couple of players will move on but there remains the foundations of a good team for next season.
It was a gamble by the BU committee to appoint Big Hunter as manager but it has paid off handsomely.
All bodes well, so onwards we go shouting from the top of the flints ..........MON THE BU's !!!!

Good post NR.
I want to mention Jamie Hamilton's appearances toward the end of the season. Encouraging to see him getting back to 100%.

Genuine questions for the Albion Rovers fans:-
What do you think of this level of Fitbaw ........good to watch ?
Enjoying the away trips ?
Will you bounce back to League 2 in the next 3 seasons ?

Forget the West.
They ain't interested in the LL.
Don't think Beith are licenced so I reckon the playoff will be East v South if both their champs are licenced.

I heard that the BU's offered Musa a new contract but the goalie isn't signing as he thinks he may be able to secure a full time contract elsewhere........possibly down South.

I honestly don't think it'll be east kilbride going up so your veiled dig doesn't bother me
You can't blame a man for trying.
Enjoy your game v The Belters today. They will be well up for it.

Big day for Gretna or Edinburgh University.
Probably no more than a temporary reprieve Oystercatcher. When the Highland League champions beat club 42 in the playoff both teams will end up going down.
Hopefully !!

Weather forecast looks good for our final game this season.
Hopefully we see a good performance and 3 Points for the BU's.
