  1. Don’t understand why we’re scrambling about this late. Business should have been completed by now. Screams of incompetence once again.
  2. As things stand, who will we have available for tomorrow night? Ledzdins, Lawlor, Sharp Kerr, Elliot, McGhee, Sweeney, Fontaine, Fisher Adam, Byrne, Chapman, McGowan, Anderson, McGinn, McMullan, McCowan, Mulligan, Robertson, McDaid Mullen, Rudden
  3. Paul McGinn would be a definite improvement on Kerr and is several steps above Elliot. Can’t believe none of us predicted Lamie signing up. Surely there are better options out there than him.
  4. St. Johnstone 0-1 Dundee Wee haters cast adrift at the bottom as McGinn gets off to a scoring start.
  5. Dire showing from us tonight. On the basis of the past couple of games, neither the keeper or any of the back four are cut out for top flight football. What is even more concerning is that we have zero other credible options to replace them with. If allowed to stay in the job past Christmas, McPake will take us down for sure. Absolutely no chance that he’ll be replaced, however.
  6. Agree with this selection for tonight, although I do concur that several of the back four are a real liability. I feel like we should be looking to bring Mulligan back from his loan spell. Would much rather give him an opportunity than play Elliot.
  7. Despite what Michael Stewart had to say during commentary last night, I would be tempted to rest Charlie on Saturday. Presuming Fontaine is out, I would start with: Legzdins; Kerr, Ashcroft, McGhee, Marshall; McGowan, Byrne, Anderson; McMullan, Cummings, Mullen. Subs: Sow, Ferrie, Elliot, Adam, McDaid, Jakubiak and Fisher.
  8. If we can’t defeat a team containing Davidson and Benedictus, then we quite simply don’t deserve to be going up. Thankfully, we seem to have hit some sort of form at the right time. Dundee to win by at least three clear goals over the two legs.
  9. Quieter on here than I imagined it would be. As much as it seems daft to change a team that’s won 3 on the bounce, I’d expect us to line up with the following as McPake tries to ensure that we avoid a repeat of the events earlier in the season: Hazard; Kerr, McGhee, Forster, Marshall; Byrne, Dorrans, McGowan, Mackie, McDaid; Hemmings. Some really good options to call on from the bench with Nelson, Johnson, Ness, McPake and Robertson all available from there. I’m going for a 2-1 win for the Dees.
  10. Jamie Murphy, Graeme Dorrans and Jason Holt are apparently all free to leave Ibrox. Any of the three would strengthen us, however Murphy or Dorrans would be a superb signing for this level.
  11. We’re trying to secure Jack Aitchison on loan from Celtic.
  12. Yeah, think Matty Allan must be turning out for our youths and Montrose. Currently 1-1. United are down to 10 men after one of their players received a second yellow for simulation.
  13. Heard this morning that we've made enquiries about Andy Webster, with a view of securing him on a pre-contract. His current deal with Coventry runs out in the summer. Played with Hartley at Hearts, but would have reckoned Tynecastle would be a more likely destination were he to move back up to Scotland.
  14. The Derry sold out for the Derby. http://www.dundeefc.co.uk/news/south-enclosure-sold-out-for-derby
