  1. See the Chairman's blog for how we instructed our rep to vote. Damning comment on SPL from Lachlan. Always liked the guy.
  2. I had to switch off the tranny I was cringeing too much. Archie "I'm not an invetsigative journalist, it's not in my cache" McPherson on SDM - he didn't come for the sash he came for the cash. Old fool.
  3. That reply is buttering you up for them buttering up. Was that Last Tango in Paris?
  4. Others may have posted this obvious inequity but just in case... When Livingston were demoted it meant no chance of automatic promotion for any team in the third that season or any team in the second the following. They maintained a full time squad and it was a punishment for others as well as them. It was acceptable though as everyone else effectively moved up one rung of the ladder and short of expulsion it was the only way to do it. If Sevco are in division one next year it robs all of those teams of a chance of promotion to the land of milk and honey. Why should they pay the price for the greed of David Murray? Why should they make their season a farce to prop up failing clubs above them that can't cope other than in some symbiotic fashion? If Motherwell, Kilmarnock and others will fail without Sevco why the hell should they expect Falkirk, Dundee, Dunfermline et al who have been held at the margins of the top league to help by allowing this? If the first division chairmen do their utmost to block this they could increase their chances of top flight football by getting rid of not one but several competitors. More importantly they would be doing the right thing.
  5. On the BBC website that covers the fixtures there is at least one Club 12 at home the same day as Dundee United. That would need to be re-jigged should dundee be promoted
  6. Walter Smith has the brassest (sic) neck of all. Shinier and harder than the necks of Whyte, Murray (both of them) and Green. He has been there throughout the majority of the financial mismanagement. Only a moron would believe he knew nothing about EBT's or dual contracts. He is a multi millionaire who has walked away from the mess his pals created and kept his piggy bank secure. Green might be a chancer but he sees an opportunity and is happily the man in charge at the time of Rangers dying. Uncle Walter has just sat at the side because he didn't want to be the man associated with it shutting down. Now he's coming out with crap like "step aside" and "ranger's people" He's a disgraceful opportunist. The rangers fans won't see him for what he is though. It was "rangers people" who cheated and killed their club. Maybe there's something to be said for Rangers people after all. How come the media are ignoring the whole issue of whether rangers will be playing in the SPL when reporting today?
  7. Why haven't HMRC or Ticketus already contacted the administrators to say "by the way chaps, no need for us to hold that meeting. We find your CVA 'offer' about as acceptable as Davie Dodds in high definition" Is it normal for creditors to wait until the deadline or can they just hunt them straight away? My patience, like my hair, wears thin.
  8. If the big tax case is left out (don't know why it should be as it's being appealed but appears to be a standing debt) will HMRC still have veto powers over this sham of a CVA offer? It's after admin fees !!!!!! and secured creditors so the amount offered to HMRC after D&P are paid will be what, 2p in the pound? Clearly a derisory offer to get it rejected and then start the Newco with "well we tried". It could be great (as a secondary position to truly great and them being wiped from the earth) if a Newco does emerge as these guys who don't want to be named must be some right chancers. I suspect rangers 2012 will be playing SPL football next year with lee McCulloch and the kids. Huge amounts of other supporters will walk away from the cesspit that is our top league but the chaos will remain at Ibrox for years to come no matter what. They were never the people.
  9. When the transfer window opens will they not just punt a couple of players to keep the admin fees coming? Sell McGregor and Davis for a couple of million each and hey presto duff and phelps can keep the scam running for another month?
  10. According to Alex Thomson SPL about to provide update on dual contracts investigation on Monday. Update must mean delay or am I reading too much into it?
  11. David Murray was not the messiah - he was a very naughty boy. Craig Whyte was not the messiah he was a very, very naughty boy. Bill Miller was not the messiah he was a very naughty boy. Chuckie Green - could he be the messiah the bears crave? Lots of naughty boys but no messiah. (ps for the rangers fans reading this "messiah" is not where Valencia play)
  12. SSN scrolling news feed "Rangers sold to London based consortium". The statement they read out was the consortium had committed money to exclusivity. Hmm. D&P have never mislead us before so I'm confused by this lack of clarity.
  13. How can it be a CVA when the club don't know if they owe £134m or £50m? Not at all suspicious that it's the last day of the season and D&P don't want to be the ones who have to shut the doors. This is very much like Murray handing over the club to Whyte, "I know nothing of you or your plans but take it, take it" whilst coats are hastily being donned. D&P have been holding the scabby queen for long enough in their view. Edited due to predictive text being smarter than me
