  1. Yeah, seems to have completely disappeared from Twitter and Facebook. You can't have posts on your website since pre-Season (which have now also disappeared) stating Semi Final Dates and then change them in the week leading up to Quarter Finals, especially when it creates an 8 week gap with the Final then going to be late May / early June which has been the problem trying to get a venue. I thought the whole point of early Semi Finals was to then have an early May Final and have more choice for a venue (and tie in with the Pyramid Calendar).
  2. Beith Juniors have made striker Sean McIlroy available for Transfer. All interested clubs should contact Chris Irving (Secretary) or Bryan Young (Manager).
  3. No, not at all. Purely a personal decision by John. Undoubtedly did a GREAT job.
  4. Beith Juniors have placed attacking midfielder / winger Joe Bradley on the Transfer List. Interested clubs should contact Chris Irving (Secretary) or John Millar (Manager).
  5. Because it would be even more strange to want to hit one of your own players with the ball. And the Largs fan with the bottle of MD doesnt seem best pleased. However, if he is a Largs fan, it's an even more bizarre situation! Arnie didnt seem pleased with him and he potentially got his own Manager sent off then!
  6. What about the Pollok fan who picks up the match ball and hits the red carded Largs player with it [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] As much as I don't agree with it.... it's hilarious given how planned it is from the way he sneaks around to get the ball!
  7. Bradley should have definitely walked. The McIlroy incident would be a good one for VAR - the keeper touched the ball but only because it hit off him as it went through his legs when McIlroy prodded it past him. Is that a genuine attempt to play the ball?? Regardless of the card to be shown, it's a pen all day long.
  8. Still can't believe the Ref gave a foul to Glencairn when McIlroy knocked the ball past the keeper!! Stonewall penalty and Red Card. [emoji85] Also, Bradley very lucky to not be sent off for losing the plot.
  9. No trip to the North Region for around 15 years for Beith then get drawn up there two rounds in a row this Season!
  10. 2nd onside. Never ever a penalty. Why does Buffs CH always wear 15 rather than 5?? Have they lost 5 a year ago and never replaced or is there a sentimental reason behind retiring the no.5 shirt?
  11. 2 x Superleagues, 2 x Wests (+ 1 x Runner Up), 1 x Scottish, 1 x ET Cup, 1 x Ayrshire Cup in his two spells - approx 8/9 years since approx 2008 off top of my head.
  12. By your logic, we won 3-1 after 83 minutes [emoji2371]
  13. He was very poor and had to double check it was the same player who has been put on a pedestal on here. Maybe playing beside Danny Boyle had an effect as he is honking. Darvel are a very good side who will do well in the Premier WHEN they are promoted this season. Just need to sort the discipline out as I suspected this could be their downfall at crucial times. Delighted with a good result today, difficult place to go, but should have won more comfortably.
  14. Beith Juniors have placed ex-Kilmarnock and Albion Rovers midfielder, Gary Fisher, on the Transfer List. Any interested parties should contact Manager John Millar or Secretary Chris Irving.
  15. That was in March 2018 and they kissed and made up and Archy went on to sign a new deal for 2018-19.... good try....
  16. He didn't fall out with anyone at the Club or the Club itself. Archy struggled with injuries and a mutual decision was made to release him to go back to Goldenhill with his pals to play football at the end of January.
  17. Beith signings to date - Gary Fisher (Albion Rovers) Larry McMahon (Albion Rovers) Sean McIlroy (Auchinleck Talbot) Ross McKenzie (Irvine Vics) Robbi Wilson (Craigmark Burntonians)
  18. Stephen Brown was to move up from the Juniors to the Seniors this Summer with the West of Scotland Final being his last game - the move up probably being the reason that his previous social media comments were revisited. Not that it makes it right but we've all done things we aren't proud of and it had been dealt with previously so it's strange that it was looked into again.
  19. Sincere condolences to all at Ardrossan Winton Rovers and Sam's family from all at Beith Juniors. A true gentleman who will be missed by all.
  20. Final is always pay at the gate. Haven't heard anything different about this one.
  21. Fairly certain the rule is the 1st of July.
  22. Talbot presented with a Trophy last night (a new Trophy) which had the wrong League name on it - saw something similar on here about Gartcairn and 1st Division / League 1. How can the West Region not know that their top League is the West Premiership and not the West Region Premier Division? It was debated enough last year. Whoever ordered these trophies should be made to pay for further new ones out of their own pocket. Also, seen on Twitter that Talbot weren't even presented with their medals - merely handed a carrier bag (Iceland) full of them "here's aw yer medals".... not even as good as amateurish.
  23. Sad to hear of any club folding. Inverness City came to Bellsdale in the Junior Cup last Season and despite a 12-0 defeat they were very upbeat and a nicer bunch of people you wouldn't meet. Very disappointed its come to this for Alastair and co and will only have come after every door was closed to them.
  24. Was at the QF between Pollok and Talbot at Newlandsfield, crowd of around 1700-1800 iirc, and there's not a chance it could host a Junior Cup Final. Kick Off was held up slightly to allow that size of crowd in, no or very basic (to be kind) toilet facilities, no parking etc etc. Final should be held in early May on an agreed date with 2 or 3 Grounds picked at start of Season which can then be selected from depending on finalists (East vs East, West vs West, West vs East). Getting to March / April and not knowing when or where Final is to be held is ridiculous. Holding it on an Astroturf is shoddy as well.
  25. You play 15 League Games at Home so if your budget is based on them (which its ludicrous if it is) then that's not Kennie's fault if you've spent the income from the other 14 and not budgeted properly. Kennie has done well to bring fixtures forward when possible and is then getting grief cause teams are finishing earlier. Cannae win.
