I’ve missed quite a few games this season but totally agree regarding the cf position and from what I’ve seen the Whitburn centre forward has impressed me and would be my main signing target.

I found a wallet in the stand when leaving game, handed it to committee who I’m sure will make sure it’s returned to rightful owner.

Poor is a bit harsh as Star were also missing a good few players and forced into playing a lot of young lads aged 20 and under. I actually think that is the youngest team I’ve seen the Rose play in a competitive match. Take Adam (who can still pass a baw) and the centre forward out and they probably averaged 19/20 years old and found it hard against a highly experienced side. Good luck to them for the rest of the season..

Are we home or away to Whitburn on Saturday? Website says home, twitter shows us away.

Yes, congratulations on this season’s achievements. How many goals did Tiri Daramola score over the season?

In my eyes, exciting game and well worth the entrance fee. Sauchie will be disappointed in not taking the points as overall they were better and Rose assisted by Sauchie centre forward missing a few good chances and referee not giving penalty and second yellow at start of second half, though need to see it again once highlights are up to see if he got a toe to the ball. Scotch pie was poor quality, but steak pie made up for this -
Was trying to find info on the cash that clubs get for progressing round by round, but unable to find anything. Anyone help, thanks in advance.

I generally find McBookie generous with their odds for the draw. A few anomalies Talbot Evens away to Bo”ness at McBookie but Oddschecker saying Coral are more than double at 21/10. Dunbar at home to Stirling Uni 10/1 Betfair and PP but only 21/5 McBookie

If the laddies football is cancelled, I’ll definitely take you up on this. Expect a late call. Newky might even buy a round! -

I’m almost certain they were different players, but will let others who know better confirm. -

About 30-35 years ago there was a hot food takeaway right across the road from the club. I think it was originally associated with Henderson’s slaughterhouse and if they couldn’t make it work with direct access to cheap meat, I’m not sure if it would be a money spinner now. I think it was open for lunch as well as evenings til late. The club was a lot busier then and the takeaway regularly got a few quid from me and others on our way home. In saying that school kids probably eat more takeaways now than back then, so it might be viable during term time. -

We haven't played anyone of Beiths pedigree yet - I'm not convinced we're as good as hammering the likes of Ormiston and Craigroyston has made us look on paper. Only match I've seen us tested in this season is vs Camelon and despite having all the ball I don't think we ever looked dangerous enough to turn it round. Add home advantage to that and I reckon Beith have to go in as, if not heavy, then certainly clear favourites. Similar to yourself Ron, I’m concerned we may lose and in my eyes rather easily/heavily. Hoping I’m wrong but will wait and see. -

Have to agree with you, I also thought he should’ve been red carded. But football being football he’ll probably get sent off later in the season for a fair tackle. Good wee set up there with space for future ground improvements. -

Thought Preston keeper did pretty well as not the tallest. A few good Preston players including the young blond haired lad who went off injured, hope not a bad one. An improved performance from recent weeks and a comfortable win for the Rose.
