  1. It's all up in the air, of course, but I have a feeling that when fans are allowed in then at least some of them will need to be opposition.
  2. That is their argument though, isn't it? We can't play the youth in our team because they aren't better than what we have now, so we need colt teams to bring them up to that level. It's not an argument I agree with, but I believe that is the spin.
  3. Well let's be honest here, we've had very public displays of bigotry from some sets of fans and the SPFL/SFA/ScotPolice still did f**k all about it - and that was without masks.
  4. From the BBC rolling Covid updates. Singing and chanting to be banned, which is fine for us, I just hope booing is still allowed though. If not, that could really impact on the atmosphere at Greenhill Road.
  5. It would be interesting to know what the capacity of the ground is under social distancing, albeit that looks like it'll be getting reduced before the season kicks off. It'll also be interesting to see if away fans face restrictions.
  6. They don't need to. Not sure if they have said they will though.
  7. I wonder who will take up the reserve goalkeeper spot at Rangers.. ..seriously though, I'm not entirely sold on Alnwick, but as DJC says there are a lot worse options out there. Does anyone know if the young Slovakian lad we brought in is anywhere near the 1st team?
  8. Here is a direct link to avoid the FB nonsense: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/scotland/53137651
  9. I thought the one PauloPerth had posted was this seasons. Your bang average is another person's rank rotten. I don't thing my standards are ridiculous and we've had some absolute howlers in recent times (esp the JD stuff).
  10. Ooft, County away and St Johnstone home tying with Aberdeen away for most rancid top so far. The Motherwell away top looks like something a ned would wear on a night out.
  11. Listened to as much of Pressley as I could take, which really isn't a lot. To me, and I'm paraphrasing, it seemed like he was claiming Dundee United are on the brink of collapse then when asked if he would fancy the job he went "no" to which he was asked was that because the club is about to fold and he answers, "I never said that". I may have picked that up wrongly. I find it difficult to listen to the lad. He's the Father Purcell of Scottish football.
  12. Got to say, Dundee pipping Neilson's Seethelothian to the Championship title, with him shitfesting the playoffs only to face Levein's United who beat them on penalties repeating Neilson's failure against us a couple of seasons back. Providing a Dundee derby back in the big league, and keeping the Gorgie children down for another season. For the cherry on top, it's St Johnstone who finished in 12th join them. It's not going to happen, but it would certainly be a good chuckle.
  13. Just going to show Scottish football is genuinely box office.
  14. You've got to admire a poster that has more negative points than they have posts. That sort of success rate is on par with successful businesswoman Ann Budge's decision making.
  15. It's looking likely, because we all know successful businesswoman Ann Budge will fail in her interdict, that football will start sometime in August so an early appointment is going to be key. So what's the thinking? Will the Americans stump up for a manager currently under contract or will they filter through the dregs of the unemployed masses?
  16. This is Tom English, the person who didn't quibble with successful businesswoman Ann Budge's assertion that Heart of Seethelothian were "too big to go down". It's clear that he is batting for one side here, and one side alone. Anything said in their defence is acceptable no matter how condescending, anything said to the opposite is a heinous crime on the "integrity of the sport". As for the context, the source seems to come from The Times (which is behind a paywall) and is based on discussions he's had with his legal team. I'm guessing most know who MacGregor is in terms of being a successful businessman, and certainly more successful than the previously mentioned Budge, but you'd feel he'd have access to a decent quality QC.
  17. Do you mean "intents and purposes". btw, that's a stinking selection of managers you are offering up there Ludo.
  18. Jinkies, shows a complete lack of belief in himself from Neilson. Imagine thinking he couldn't do the job in the Premiership and having to go to a club facing administration and a transfer embargo. As for the Arabs, it's a stinker losing the manager who promoted you, we did with Ross, albeit he went to a bigger team.
  19. Imagine someone stating the obvious getting you that worked up.
  20. Cannot see why on Earth Neilson would want to drop down a league, to a club teetering on the brink of administration and looking at a possible transfer embargo. Now so much a sideways move as a backwards jump.
  21. Aye, because St Liedown for the last 30 odd years didn't make you lot sound like a bunch of crying children? At least Heart of Seethelothian has a basis of fact, while successful businesswoman Ann Budge is what Tom English's called her. I heard Tommy boy is your biggest fan these days, so I can't see why you would be annoyed by that. Of course, if you find the patter rank, there is a solution for that. Go post in the forum designated for your team. I'll give you a hint, it's not this one.
  22. While I'm sure that's a typo, it's not any the worse for it, as non-prescience sums up VB quite well.
  23. St Liedown no more all hail the new kings..... Heart of Midliedown Heart of Seethelothain, please.
